I was gonna write up how I’d have judged the episode but I’d keep it the exact same but with Kita winning. Elektra and Coco felt like the worst all round for me- Maxi seemed at least like she was having fun and being silly. Karen’s verse felt so Karen if you know what I mean so it worked for me.

Alexis has always felt really underrated considering how generally well she does across her seasons!

I thought Elektra did so bad hahah- her runway was so bad, her lyrics was bad, her makeup is AWFUL??? I’m not enjoying her at all tbh and I think Coco did better in the lipsync but both were pretty bad tbh

14. Season 10 7-fsvt_-uMo This season is a really underrated gem in terms of lipsyncs I think- Monet vs Mayhem, Asia vs Vixen and Mayhem vs Yuhua all don’t get nearly enough love. The behemoths that were the New Attitude and Pound the Alarm lipsyncs are also up there as some of the series most fun and memorable. Aquaria just felt so correct as the winner even if her run to the crown did seem rather predictable and she didn’t really have much competition but some of her looks are absolutely flawless and some of the best I’ve seen not just on the show but just in general. The season had a fair few queens that were so obviously cast as early-out, basically everyone eliminated before Vixen had no shot at the crown (yes even Monique with them looks). Not a series I go back to the most as some of the queens are not classics- the app challenge, the Pharmarusical and (dare I mention it) the Evil Twins challenge are some real low points for the series but god are there some fantastic lovable queens and absolute stars amongst this cast. Favourite Queen: Asia O Hara Least Favourite Queen: it’s a tie between Eureka who is exhausting television and Kameron who is the complete opposite and makes painfully boring TV. Favourite Look: Asia’s Denim and Aquaria’s Feathers Least Favourite Look: Kalorie’s Drag On a Dime Best Lip-sync: Groove is in the Heart- Asia O Hara vs The Vixen Best Moment: I don’t think there’s been a ball slayage more satisfying than Aquaria’s for me- each look just made complete sense but tied in with each other- a legend!

Brooke and Yvie are both a bit meh for me- they both had some absolutely fantastic looks however! Blu I actually have the exact same comments for!

Ooo see I got a lot of cringe from Elektra I think it’s a huge detriment just letting your team by your backup dancers.

Well no because Jaidynn ATE HER UP in that lipsync there would be no point in a lipsync existing if Max did bad but got through anyway surely? I loved Max on the show but absolutely not a chance she did better in that lipsync. Also Kandy BODIED Kasha imo but each to their own

But they slayed lipsyncs??? I believe you should go once you’ve lost a lipsync surely and Kandy and Jaidynn both murdered some lipsyncs! and also Jaidynn deserved the Spoof challenge win. Pearl was one of the queens that made me fall in love with the show a complete outsider who does drag her own way and her content since the show has been so marvellous!

15. Season 7 jL2E3BOwiQY Why- WHY??? Did they cast a season as being a fashion-forward season but throw in so many acting and comedy challenges??? The Merle Ginsberg challenge, the parody challenge, the Rusical, the John Waters challenge, Shakesqueer and the DESPY Awards when we could have had challenges that catered to the queens that Ru and Michelle said they tailored the season for. Violet wins the first challenge and doesn’t win then until right near the end, Ginger gets an edit in the last few episodes making her really hard to route for- as does Kennedy, Pearl is hard to see as a winner due to her constantly being bumped up in rankings by the judges. There are so many great queens here I can’t deny but the challenges were such a slog to get through when we could have had at least one more looks challenge that could have made Violet, Pearl, Fame etc- way easier to route for- but instead we see them flounder way more? Favourite Queen: Pearl Least Favourite Queen: Jasmine Masters Favourite Look: Violet’s 2-in-1 Least Favourite Look: Both of Sasha Belle’s Best Lipsync: Roar- Kennedy Davenport vs Katya Best Moment: “I’d like to thank Mexico for the tapeworm that snatched my body, and the man upstairs- thank you so much for the light- I look great!”

There was WAY more Kita screentime this episode than Anita this episode- Kita was probably the most regular confessional queen this episode actually? Maybe Karen but Kita seemed to get a lot of airtime she’s fab!

Absolutely agreed! Kita is SUCH a joy bless her soul! Scarlet winning was odd like her runway was good and she did do good in the challenge so deserved the top but Anita and Kita had so much more presence in the challenge. I dozed off in that lipsync god it was dull

God this episode was so boring

Interesting to see you’d give the win to Alexis in the gaff-in when all the queens in the season as well as the judges said it was Yara who carried Alexis through on that challenge and got them the win. Alexis was just kinda there

16. All Stars 3 dTFvoHBi0Uw This was a fab season right until that ball episode. The cast had a mix of fan-faves, under dogs and high-placers alike with a fair few front-runners in the mix. The talent show, rusical, Snatch Game and Bitchelor challenge were successful and fairly well-judged (aside from Thorgy), and the queens all really got to shine on the runways and the challenges. So we reach the ball episode at top six and we have a strong bunch of contenders left but then it all goes to pot- Bebe betrays Aja, Shangela does a horrible job, Aja doesn’t know how to pronounce someone’s name (???) and following this we have Dela’s elimination, Morgan coming back solely due to Dela’s guilty conscience, a nightmare of an acting challenge and the DUMBEST finale twist that obliviously favoured queens who had played a safe game and hadn’t eliminated anyone. After the majestic All Stars 2 this really could have been a great follow-up but if it ain’t broke RuPaul- don’t give us unnecessary twists!!! Favourite Queen: Aja Least Favourite Queen: Milk Favourite Look: Every single one of them red runways as well as Trixie and Shangie’s finale Least Favourite Look: Bebe’s finale Best Lipsync: Anaconda- BenDeLaCreme vs Aja Best Moment: The Bitchelor might be one of the best improv challenges on the show

8. Sweet Dreams- Beyonce JlxByc0-V40 Every popstar needs a spooky-pop moment and Beyonce wasn’t immune. Although I do wish the music video version was on streaming- this song in it’s intense delivery in the chorus as well as the brooding production and the music-box like piano that backs the second verse and pre-chorus is such a fun single. The middle eight although short is a gorgeous vocal moment and takes away the intensity of the song and brings in this softly creepy moment to the song. The strings over the final choruses also deserve their recognition as what better way to increase some tension in a dark pop song than a strings section!
