Up to #50 on iTunes now. I think that's quite impressive. And he's ahead of Pussycat Dolls in the mids. "Not a hope," "no chance"... of being #1 were some of the comments on here and Haven. He's not that far off though, is he?

It will make a change to see McFly taking a double-digit leap up the chart next week as opposed to down :)

If he'd actually bothered to promote the release then he could easily have done this. He has the fanbase, but he hasn't utilised it to his advantage here. A Cliff special on ITV - for instance - could have bagged him the #1 with ease. Plus our Woolworths has a big display of unpriced singles on it. How many fans are going to take an unpriced single to the counter? Top 3 at best now I reckon.

These two are a guaranteed #1 and #2 this week, with Metallica probably arriving on top. Glasvegas will lead all the way until Friday for sure.
