That 18k figure for "VLV" came from Alan Jones at Music Week and they definitely combined both versions to reach that figure. It's now charting from the album alone as the "single edit" has been removed from sale.

The NCQ single version and the album version combined would have been #4. We were expecting the album version to be able to chart from Friday's mids onwards (but not the single version) - if this had been the case, then it would have been #25.

Scooter are back in the Top 40 today, knocking Mystery Jets out. It looks like Weezer will probably go Top 40 by Sunday...

She's down 14 places from Sunday but sales in that area are very close - if she picks up she could stay Top 75 at a push

No problem. They've both fallen since Sunday (if they had climbed they would have already been posted). N*E*R*D have fallen within the Top 50, and Bryn Christopher has fallen from #45 as far as Top 60. Hope this is a bit clearer.

Scooter have reclaimed a toe-hold on the Top 40 singles, pushing Mystery Jets out. Billiam haven't moved since yesterday. Coldplay's re-entry in the Top 40 albums knocks Willie Nelson down to Top 50. Singles either reclimbing within the Top 75 or re-entering are: Ting Tings - SUALMG, Coldplay - FU, Lynyrd Skynyrd - SHA, Scouting For Girls - SSL and Guns N' Roses - SCOM. Feeder have fallen to Top 90 from #25! And N-Force have also fallen within the Top 90. Rascals have flopped at Top 180.

It's moved up one place from Sunday

It's one in/one out in both charts today. Busta Rhymes' new entry has knocked Fratellis from Top 40 singles and Bobby Vee has been replaced by OneRepublic at the bottom of the Top 40 albums

There's a couple of "scams" going on - one is 30 different download versions available for sale (although I think they're also available as a bundle at around £12 - these would be NCQ) and the old pre-order/text/download trick that McFly/Westlife/Morrissey like(d) to use to get an unusually high chart position in Week 1. We all know that in Week 2 they will have disappeared from the Top 100. At the end of the day, what does it really achieve? No-one is impressed by one-week chart wonders anymore in this day and age. It doesn't necessarily translate into healthy album sales or anything either.

We have the FULL Top 40 singles today! Madonna album is a non-mover from Sunday, Duffy's "Mercy" is showing a slight reclimb... Anything else just ask.
