Re "Defying Gravity" - the Kristen version is listed as being through Universal, and the Idina one through Warners. These are obviously different recordings, so have to be listed seperately.

Good news for Ashlee: she's up another 2 places, whilst Kylie falls another 1 - due to Alphabeat entering above her

Sunday Chart Predictions
So Rihanna has finally done it in singles! For the first time in ages we have a full Top 40 on the first daily flash (MW have corrected their mistake!) so there are no missing positions! Looks like they've also resolved whatever problem they had with Alphabeat, who now land just about where expected. "Defying Gravity" is still listed incorrectly as Kristen though. Whether the second entry lower down in the Top 200 that Ben identified is still listed seperately is not yet known. The only reclimbers from Sunday in the Top 40 today are Chris Brown who has nudged back into the Top 20 and Scouting For Girls who move back up slightly. All others from yesterday's update are either non-movers or fallers now. Alphabeat's belated new entry comes at the expense of Kooks, who edge out of the 40. In albums, Hucknall and Osmonds make their expected moves towards the Top 10. Bobby Vee was a huge faller yesterday from #18 to right out of the 40, but is back on the chart today (just), which kicks out Bon Iver who made an unexpected climb into the Top 40 from their debut position of #43 yesterday. Kelly Rowland has fallen a fair bit towards the bottom of the 40. Other than that, not much movement today.

Sunday Chart Predictions
There's no missing positions now - only missing singles! That "Kristen" thing which has gone Top 30 is credited incorrectly (it should be Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel) and the chart also lists Taio Cruz's "COG" and Lil Mama as new entries when they were both clearly charting last week too. Hopefully the OCC will get over whatever it's suffering from by tomorrow! :)

Definitely sales missing. In albums, the only new entry in the 76-100 region is Johnnie Ray.

Woah! As I say, not 100% on that - but it makes sense, as otherwise we'd end up with thousands of leaked sales for items that arrived early

Sunday Chart Predictions
If it was ordered online, I believe it counts towards this week's chart as that's when the transaction would have taken place Monday (money debited from your account yesterday?). The fact that it arrived early shouldn't have mattered. I may be wrong though? If you ever buy anything in a store that's sold prior to its release date (unless it's the Sunday) then that would count as a leaked sale in the previous week's chart. The last bit I'm certain of.

Sunday Chart Predictions
Apart from Alphabeat, Sandi Thom, Andy Abraham and other newies, the tracks fighting it out for #40, pushed down by the new arrivals are: Santogold, Adele, Script, Hoosiers, Utah Saints and Britney Spears. In albums, the 12 new/re-entries have elbowed out: Bobby Vee, Death Cab For Cutie, Santogold, Moby, Martha Wainwright, Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Flight Of The Conchords, Hoosiers, David Jordan, Isobel Campbell, Charlatans and Chris Brown

Sunday Chart Predictions
#40 is missing, so is open to offers! Fratellis and Zutons have an extra day's sales over Alphabeat - so that explains that issue. Scooch were just outside the Top 10 in the midweek flashes last year, climbing to #5 at the end of the week. Andy will obviously climb from wherever he is at the moment, and climb next week too (as is the tradition with Eurovision - Scooch excepted) but with the #1 physical last week only doing 4,804 copies I don't hold out much hope for him unless he can glean some download sales from somewhere!
