I agree with what you say but it is only a small minority that do that. I remember Stuart telling me some of the girls in his year couldn't wait to leave school have a baby to get a place of their own by the council and live off hand outs. 1 child gave them a flat and 2 a house. But the majority of the leavers do try to find work and a life supporting themselves. Yes they have to live with us longer but they are still trying. I went to a pension meeting yesterday, didn't realise that it was by a Union rep. She was trying to tell us not to move from the pension with the NHS or we could ruin the pension pot and cause disaster in the country's finances! She then went on to say that the riots had been caused by closure of youth groups! Did she really think those rioters went to youth groups! I nearly walked out but waited patiently for a gap in the talk and excused myself saying I had to get back to work. On a completely different topic. My decree nisi was granted yesterday at 10am! Almost a single woman again!! Actually it felt quite 'shit' but I couldn't go back now. I am actually very happy with my new life.

Tonight they have both learnt how to jump onto the wall. It's a huge drop on the other side so they have just walked along it but it wont take long for them to work out where the smallest drop is and then my heart will be in my mouth!
