Absolutely agree that she's elevated her sound with these last two releases! The aesthetic of the music video - I've read how it comes across like a low resolution upload from the 2000s that has since been upscaled to be HD, and it really does look that way, which is fun!

It's not undefendable. One man's trash is another man's treasure... what some find to be abysmal or idiotic, others can find to be touching, profound, relatable. It's all in the interpretation and what happens to move you. I never understand why anyone gets on their high horse about lyrics and tries to tell someone they're wrong. Just focus on what you like!

I'm happy that they will get to wrap this up! The lack of news over the last 6 months has started to make me feel uneasy about its future, so that's a relief! I agree a movie is probably the best way to go to conclude Heartstopper. As well as Volume 6, this season will also draw from the novella "Nick and Charlie". I agree, pink is a random choice! I think a blue vinyl, or maybe even a gold vinyl to match the text, could have been nicer choices. I suppose yellow for Angels was a bit random too!

A Girl Like Me - it reached #89 in both the Sales chart and the Physical chart (and oddly 2 weeks later, it charted at #34 in the "Record Store" chart) https://www.officialcharts.com/albums/emma-bunton-a-girl-like-me/ Northern Star - first release in 2022: #45 in Physical, #47 in Sales and #32 in the Vinyl chart // second release in 2023: #70 in Physical, #74 in Sales. https://www.officialcharts.com/albums/melanie-c-northern-star/ It stands to reason (no pun intended x) that Northern Star did a lot better than Reason has done, even with its second edition! I wonder if Reason had its original artwork whether it would have done slightly better, even if it was just a little bit higher up like A Girl Like Me? It would be nice to know the sales but unfortunately I have no idea. Record Store Day releases take up a lot of the Sales and Physical charts, so it's fair to say that Reason just about making the Top 100 this week is more than likely with higher sales than it typically takes to chart!

Reason entered the UK physical albums chart at #99 this week. It's not Top 100 on sales or Top 40 in the vinyl chart (and it probably should go without saying that it's not in the official albums chart x). It's safe to say it's one of the more niche titles released for Record Store Day!
