This year's two-day show will include performances by two famous faces from Pop Idol and X Factor, Darius Campbell and Olly Murs. Also appearing is Britain's Got Talent semi-finalists - The Fusion - a Glaswegian dance troupe. The event, which is organised by the city council and starts at midday, will also feature an equestrian stunt team. Spectators will also see performances by Titan the Robot, stuntman Mark Stannage and The Golden Lions parachute display team. The city's lord provost, Bob Winter, said: "The Glasgow Show is the council's biggest and best event held in our city and every year just gets better and better." A parade through the city led by the lord and lady provost, will mark the start of the event. The spectacle will include pipe bands, dancers, clowns, stilt walkers, vintage buses and fire engines, Clydesdale horses and street theatre

  11. I hope D will be sensible about this, wear the neck brace and take time off from public appearances for a while. He worries about letting his fans down.......yet they would individually tell him to get well rather than cause life-long damage that might end his career as an entertainer. Fate deals some cruel blows. Get well soon, D, if you are reading this.
