BP, I read this differently, taking the word 'net' to mean capture, but you could well be right. I assumed that reporters would not have access to the amount of tax paid, and the amount deducted for expenses etc. I understood that entertainers' salaries are usually reported gross. For D's sake I hope you are right.

Considering he has a flat in central Glasgow (as I read in an article) it seems odd that he couldn't get in. The previous day was his day off.....maybe he did go to London and his flight back, like Meg's, was cancelled.
