Sensible decision Meg. I hope everything goes OK and that the experience isn't too bad. Think of the dentist, we always imagine it will be far worse than it ever actually is. You know we shall all be thinking of you on the 3rd.

Thought this new topic would catch the eye of people who don't read all the other posts on other topics.

DARIUS......................ALAN TITCHMARSH SHOW ITVI at 5.0pm today.
  5. If 15p of each telephone call goes to charity, who collects the other 35p ? Who is actually behind this show ? Simon Cowell has made a fortune this way. Who now? And will there be a tour as in DOI , BHT etc ?And what is the prize for winning this? Sorry, but I seem to have been left behind.

Sue, please give my congratulations to your son and girlfriend. A very exciting time for you all.
  7. Meg, what, where, when ??? The CD.
  8. Pip, I need time for the blood pressure to go down after this week's performance, before I start worrying about next week.
  9. Oh my God, what a cliff-hanger. I jumped up clapping.......I don't think I can stand next week Thanks BT.
  10. Should be doing loads of things, but am having a therapeutic break on here.

Just adding, being able to sleep at night would be a bonus! I've joined the club, BT.
  14. Have faith, Meg. By the time D has injected it with his originality and stage ability, we shall all be pleasantly surprised, I'm sure.

The problem is not the P.C. ......although that crawls along, with many long pauses when 'not responding' appears. The problem is that I have so many things happening at the moment. I'll be glad when it all settles down.

Maybe each contestant will sing more than one song? Or one new one and a re-hash of previous programmes? Which would leave the way clear for Rolando and Katherine to duet.
  17. I think this piece lends itself more readily to D's expressive acting and performance skills than a slower, emotional one would. And maybe the general public will be swayed by this, in conjunction with his oral performance, more so than a more static delivery.

I have just one phone but it will be red hot this evening!!!!

Thank goodness most of the interviews are being summarised or repeated on this site! I'm missing the majority of these as I have so much going on in my life at the moment. But I'm finding time to read, if not to post.

Have you got tickets Paul? At least he has said there will be an album and even better a tour, so I think I shall be happier to see him then wthout the pressure.
  22. 'But this swift business I must uneasy make Lest too light winning make the prize light' Shakespeare The Tempest And D is certainly making me uneasy (and some) each Friday evening !!

Well. it's better than I am, or rather have been. But I'm back and rareing to go once more. By the way, although I applied for tickets in Feb, I have not received any again. I think I was too honest in saying I was retired. I think they want a younger audience.
  24. But then aren't we desperate for D to stay ? The difference is in the quality of both singing and performance. D is able to use a lot that he has gained from previous experience in the musicals, plus he has the advantage of a great voice. Poor Cyrus looked pale with nerves, but for his age he did very well in the clip. But didn't see Aria this week.

Did someone say two people will be out next week ?
