  1. Paul, thanks for the ticket offer and I would love to meet you but regetfully I have decided to give it a a miss this time. We are still snowed in, since before Xmas, so even getting to the rail station would be difficult.....not even taxis can come up our hill. Thankfully we have plenty of food reserves. And it is very late to make rail, hotel and other arrangements. But I do look forward to meeting you and the others sometime. I hope you all enjoy the show, that you meet D, and that you post some lovely photos for us all to enjoy. If this is a dress rehearsal, Meg, is the Friday show being transmitted live? Does this mean we won't see the Thursday show on TV ? If there are six programmes, and one is voted off each time, that leaves three singers in the final. Hope D is one of them. I thought the Saturdays were a group from the past, but today I was told they are the latest rage.

  3. No ticket. Too late now to make arrangements even if it did arrive. Guess I must have mucked up the application. Profile oF DC http://www.unrealitytv.co.uk/popstar-to-op...ampbell-danesh/
  4. Have your tickets come, BP? Mine have not arrived yet - I'm getting worried. If so, did they come by post or e-mail?

I wonder if many people will make it to the ITV recording session if the weather continues to be so bad (as is forecast for the next week or longer).
  8. Hope I don't forget. Thanks Delphi. A week tomorrow - not long now. And thanks Meg for the Anglian link. But the Alex video I found was all about Blur. Going to look again now. Yup, that's all I could find. After hearing Bernie Nolan sing I expected Alex to sing a solo.

  11. Have you noticed that on DS and apparently in Hello, Kym Marsh has already begun to push herself into the news. Yesterday she publically (on TV) adopted a stray dog. Today she tells how she was humiliated by Nigel Lythgoe, and how she has had cosmetic surgery. Someone is organising her publicity campaign prior to the show.

Our schools are closed, but I think it may be thawing just slightly. Some of the snow festooning the trees so beautifully is blowing off in the breeze, whereas yesterday it was iced on. But we are still snowbound. Plenty of food in, though.
  13. Well, I've managed to join, and I'm now a follower. Spotted you and Nina, but can't see Paul.

  23. I think you are about to have your share of the snow, Meg, according to the weather forecast. Seems to be a full-time job here keeping the birds supplied with food and water..........seven goldfinches today. It's the first year we have had those in our garden. Must re-fill the bird-tables.

Welcome back, BT. I've really missed you. A grand-daughter......congratulations! You must be thrilled. But what a home-coming. Glasgow has had dreadful weather - snow, ice and very very low temperatures. But at least Darius (now Campbell) is active again, you've just timed it right for that.
