So good to see Darius with his guitar and to hear the unique Darius voice which I miss so much. :)

I wouldn't have known it was him from appearance but there is something about the way he moves and holds himself that is unique to Darius. Looks like something I would watch and obviously having Darius in it would be a big plus ;) Sadly it seems like Darius has opportunity and misfortune in equal amounts :(

I believe some people are fans of Darius's earlier music alone, and some are fans of Darius himself, and are enjoying along with him, his journey into acting and musical theatre. For those who loved his earlier music as I did, we'll always want more of the same. Darius said at the beginning of his career that he seeks recognition for his music; there can be no better compliment than wanting more of his own unique music, sung and written in his own style. Although I don't like jazz as much, I do appreciate he sings it very well. However I don't understand why someone with a passion for music would keep putting it on the back burner to pursue other things. Okay so maybe his passion for acting is just as strong and he doesn't want to let an opportunity pass by, but surely at some stage he will need to prioritise one over the other. No one in the entertainment business can maintain a career without the public support so whilst I agree in some respects he must do what he pleases and make his own decisions; I also think he shouldn't be to self indulgent and he should pay some attention to the expectations of his fans!

I know circumstances in life can determine the route taken and I doubt Darius has had things easy but the waiting has been so long for us all, and I'm not getting any younger! Good to know I have your company for another year Meg :)

I think maybe Matt Goss has had more success in his career than you're aware of B.P. :) http://mattgoss.la/biography/ I'm sure Darius is doing things his way and is very happy with life which is wonderful, however for someone who is interesting in his music and doubting we'll ever get this elusive album he promises year upon year, I just wish he would deliver a unique sound and soon. If we go another year with a no show my patience will run out!

He looks nice, I like his hair like that. I don't think he has looked very happy in recent photos especially the ones of him with Natasha, the body language wasn't good. Can't really tell with a photo though, sometimes it's just the way the camera catches a look in a split second.

I agree that's its upsetting when anyone speaks against Darius but at times it's hard to defend him. People who have met Darius and witnessed how caring and attentive he is in their presence will have a different opinion to those who follow his career and haven't been fortunate enough to have met him in person. They can only judge his interaction with his fans via websites, where sadly he doesn't put in the effort. After being off the radar to many for a very long period Darius felt the need for his fans to vote for him in PSTOS and was forthcoming in asking them to do so. To some, rightly or wrongly, it will feel like he now ignores them until he may need their support again. He may be busy but no more so than many other artists. Don't get me wrong I think Darius is mega talented and a lovely man but I feel he needs to work on his PR and if he promises an album which doesn't happen (year after year) at least have the good grace to provide follow up information and maintain contact with his fans during the quite times, especially if he expects them to be around next time he needs their support.

Bless you I didn't think that at all :) It's just that I know how a post can come across in a way that was unintended sometimes. I wanted to make what I was trying to say clear so that I wasn't upsetting anyone. Darius has to do what he feels is right for him and that which makes him happy, I know that. Selfishly I just want the like of songs such as Simple like the Truth, Now or Never, Mercury Rising or Rushes and had hoped to get more than two albums of those type of songs. I keep hoping that when his album comes out I will like it but its disappointing when he keeps saying the album will be out this year and this year always becomes next year :wacko:
