Sooz

Darius sings everything well and is heads above many putting out Albums. Personally I find the big band songs Darius sings are pleasant enough but he's singing and written songs in a style previously done by others. Where are the heartfelt songs and melodies that he can write and once said filled his dreams? The hand in pocket, suited, crooning, finger clicking Darius appears old fashioned to me, and I’m 56 :o Please don't get me wrong I'm not doing him down I've followed him from his first appearance on Popstars and I haven't given up on him yet but I long for his emotive voice, his energy, the meaningful lyrics and catchy melodies. Another year gone and still no sign of an album, I'll be pushing up daises by the time he gets around to it :cry: Just realised I'm not 56 I'm 55 - I've got longer to wait than I thought so panic over! ;) :lol: ha ha I'll settle for something along the lines of Dive-In Live Twice or any one of his B-sides ;)

I think it's great that Darius came back and won PSTOS and that he's had all this work since, appears to be so happy, and so many of you have enjoyed going to see him. Personally though I can't help being disappointed as I so want an album of his own music in his own style. We've had so many empty promises that I don't think it's ever going to happen. :( Now I've got that off my chest I just want to wish you all a Good Christmas and a Healthy Happy New Year! :)

They've just announced Darius will be on the show tomorrow 22/09/2010

I had trouble so I right clicked on download and clicked 'Save As' which appears to have worked. Thanks to everyone for uploading and/or sharing their videos and photos

Shocking news but I doubt he'll take chances with his voice and will do the sensible thing - hope he is soon on the mend and back to full health.

Thanks, not just me then so I won't bother chasing it up and I have the download to listen to :) I would be less patient if I thought we had a Darius B-side to discover, I always looked forward to hearing those when buying his singles ;)

Yes I agree with you Meg! Maybe if you upload a lot of videos over time you can control which are used by stopping some, and leaving those which you feel better show his voice. I think the three you've added so far are all really good, I know i've enjoyed them so thank you for sharing

Meg I think it's the nature of youtube that anyone can embed your videos anywhere, unless you choose the option to stop them. You can do that by going to any of your video's and choosing Edit – Embedding and mark 'No, external sites may NOT embed and play this video'. :)

Thanks Preston, I've just edited my post to say I run out (when I say run out I mean I drove a 20 mile round trip) to buy the paper and I've managed to download the track

Do we need the Sunday Mail to be able to download, I've just been on HMV and itunes and it's not there, I thought we could just download it as we can any other song? editing to say I run out and got the paper, managed to download the song and I'll send off for the CD :)

Someone had a bet on Darius and won :D

I just wish Darius would feel it, write it, and sing it in his own unique style. This is the very first song written by Darius that I didn't feel, maybe it was because I didn’t understand the lyrics I’m not sure. It could be this is the right way for Darius to go and gain many new fans but I think he may lose some of the old fans in the process. That can’t be helped I suppose but I for one will feel I’ve lost the most individual unique artist I’ve heard in my 55 years.
