There is a small picture of Darius in the Sunday Star magazine today in their 'Fame Names' competition. It's nice to know that they still consider D to be a famous name after a year and a half out of the limelight!!! :D Julie

On Andy's webpage there are a couples of glimpses of D on stage in the video of the Kodak Theatre concert and also several photos including D in the section underneath http://www.andymusic.com/ Julie

Wow, he is actually coming back from LA for this - great news Rachel, thanks for letting us know :D I'm so pleased that he is performing back in London - if I had known earlier in the week I would definitely have been there!! :( I hope that someone from the forum can be there to report back or we will be able to get some news or pictures from Facebook/Persian Hub - it certainly sounds like it will be a great night!! :lol: By sheer chance Meg!! You obviously read the blogs over on Google as well! :D That advert was the only post that wasn't in Persian?? and I nearly missed it! Wouldn't we have heard something from D or Rachel if he was actually going to do this???!! He has virtually only just flown back to LA.... I wondered if D had possibly agreed to do this!!?? - but... he has, of course, only just gone back to LA! Julie

I have no 'edit' in my third line down and if I try to copy from Favourites, nothing happens!!! I'm using Vista.... would that make a difference??!! Julie

Darius was back in LA last Friday 23/10 according to a blog over on Google by the Daily Truffle - ' LA's Social Diary'. He was at the 'Food Fight' at the Supper Club in honour of the award winning documentary on World hunger also called 'Food Fight'. He is a friend of the owner of the restaurant - "Darius Danesh, a scottish musician and runner-up in Pop Idol made a traditional toast thanking Tami for her on-going hostess jobs over the years". He is shown chatting in the crowd on the right-hand side of the photo shown at the top of the blog. Julie

If you are a member of Facebook, I notice that Rachel has posted a request for votes for Darius as 'the Best Musical Artist to follow' and the 'best Facebook Fan page' in the Mashables 2009 Open Web Awards. According to an interview with Trevor Nunn (over on Broadwayworld) with Timesonline, GWTW is opening over in Korea!! Maybe that is where Darius has been hiding!! :D Julie

...Just a tidbit..... I've just been talking to Wendy and she asked me if I had watched 'Come Dine with Me' on More4 last night. Apparently the competitors were two men and two women and the winning man was a DJ. He had lots of photos in his home of him with celebrities and one lady commented......'ooh look, it's Darius, he's lovely,... I think he's wonderful!' (or something very similar) :cheer: and.... wait for it.... there was not one negative comment!!! :D Julie ...well. I said it was only a tidbit!!! :lol:

According to a poster over on Natasha's site, she is due to start making a TV film in Canada this month with Harry Hamlin :wub: and a sheep dog :wub: :D as her co-stars. I hope this means that once D's birthday is over (and there has been no mention of the wedding!) that they are both getting back to work for at least a few months - here's hoping....... :D Julie

Another of my 'I Like' questions........ Over on D's page under 'Other Popular Songs', if you click on 'View All', there is a long list of songs at the end of D's album songs, none of which I know or have heard of!! Does anyone know if these tracks are anything to do with Darius? Does Darius compile his 'I Like' page? Is anyone a member and can play the tracks to hear what they are like? I keep hoping I am going to find some new music somewhere!!! :D Julie I have just been over to have another look and there is a note at the bottom of the page (if it was there last night, I must have been too tired to notice!! :rolleyes: ) which says that all the tracks may not be correct but are relative to what 'I Like' users play. So, I guess all the unrecognisable ones don't have anything to do with D!! :(

There is a nice picture of Darius pre GWTW in this week's Celebrity Birthday list over on DS...... but, of course, he is the only one to have a 'belittling' comment: 'Darius Danesh, Popstars and Pop Idol reject reaches 29 on Wednesday'!! :rolleyes: :angry: Why, on earth, couldn't it be:'Darius Danesh, Platinum recording star and West End Star reaches 29 on Wednesday'!! What is it about Darius that makes the majority of the media refuse to face the facts and admit that he has talent!!?? Julie

Am I the only one to read the Daily Star?..... I wonder why!!!.... :lol: Hopefully, this is positive news (Darius does seem to like talking to Neil Sean) Under Neil Sean's The Biz: "Run for your lives! Pop Idol star Darius Danesh is on his way back. The Scots hunk tells me he has finished his new album and I hear he's looking at acting opportunities. He said, "I pop up in Hotel Babylon but I'd love something like 'The Street' or, dare I say, a slot in something like 'The Wire'. :dance: I would think this information will be in a lot of the magazines next week.... hopefully the album will not be long now.... :D Julie

At last..... I just had a quick look in next week's TV and Satellite whilst in Tesco and Darius is top of their 'Good Week barometer' with a comment about him being in Hotel Babylon and getting to show us what he can do other than sing There is also a picture of him in a scene from Hotel Babylon in their programmes of the week. No worries about how they have made him look - he looks great and towers over Nigel Harman!! :D Also, in New Magazine, Hotel Babylon is No.6 in their 'telly of the week' and shows the same picture with the following: 'Apparently insomnia is on the increase nowadays. That's not surprising when there are so many big questions to keep your mind buzzing at night. And the big question that's been keeping us awake lately is this: What's Darius Danesh up to? Well, here's the answer - he's in this week's Hotel Babylon as an Italian magazine editor who is using the hotel in a glossy photo shoot. Hurrah! Sleep at last.' ...... I assume they are trying to be funny!! or maybe not??!! :unsure: Anyway, they have at least mentioned the programme in their top 10 and Darius seems to be getting all the publicity even though Kelly Osbourne and John Savident are also in the same programme, so that has got to be a good thing I hope that this will be that start of D continuing to promote himself again in the UK ready for the new album/gigs/shows, etc.... please Darius!!!!! :dance: Julie

I found a blog written by a fireman over on Google Trends yesterday and apparently Darius was a VIP at the '22nd Great Amazing Childrens Party' at Battersea Park on 1st July together with Des O'Connor, Elaine Paige, Paul Young and Linda Robson....... I wonder if he is still here and if he is what is he doing??!!! I just wish the media would 'pick up' on something! Also, a bit of trivia.... Darius is no. 84 in the Google Top 100 Key Words/Hot Trends..... that must be good,... I think! :D Julie

According to a poster over on Facebook, Darius was in Venice the other day with a friend!! :) Another holiday?? or business project, video maybe!! One day we will know what is going on!! :D Of course, I suppose it could be honeymoon arrangements! :love: Julie
