I often check out the posters on the 'I Like' Forum and a few weeks ago I noticed that someone had been playing a Darius track which I think I remember was called 'Shades of Blue' (or something similar!!). Today I have just had a look over there and a poster (Andrea H) has played a Darius track called 'This is my World', 23 times. I remember the first poster had a German sounding name but the second poster doesn't say where she is from. How do these people know about these songs if D hasn't released anything new and how do they play them over on 'I Like'?? Is anyone a member over there and is there any way to find out where these tracks have come from??!! Julie

It looks like 'Torchwood' is now going to take the 9 p.m. slot on Friday, 10th July, so unless they re-schedule 'Hotel Babylon' into another timeslot it looks like D's appearance will be pushed back another week to 31st July!! :rolleyes: :( (Another week to wait!!) I have never watched any series of Hotel Babylon before but I am quite enjoying it - as posters say in other Forums, 'it is escapism TV'. The characters are all very different and endearing in their own 'quirky' little way! :lol: I certainly hope that when we do eventually see D, that he is in it longer than Ben Fogle was!!!! - Did anybody blink and miss him?!!! :lol: Julie

He was certainly a man with 'issues'!! but a musical genius and a very exciting performer!! Neil and I actually had the experience of seeing him in concert many years ago at Roundhay Park - he was excellent - a day I will never forget! :cry: His music will never die...... Mmmmm..... That sounds interesting Sue! :D My husband and I would love to see him again but we are fairly busy in July - can you let me know what dates he is appearing? Is it just Rhydian and Men Aloud? Why, on earth, can't Darius appear at a concert like this - some of Men Aloud appeared with him at the Burns Night didn't they? Julie

Well.... that's Tina Turner and Rhydian Roberts that I've seen so far in concert this year....... Rhydian was excellent - a really varied playlist (I think he only sang two from his album!) but some of the others may well be on his new album which he says will be out in November. He is a natural, a true entertainer - he didn't sing a note wrong and was thoroughly enjoying himself :D I went with Wendy and Allison and saw a few other Darius fans there. We met Rhydian afterwards (purely by chance, believe it or not!! :) ) and had a photo and brief chat and he is a lovely young man (just like someone else we all know!!) The only disappointment of the evening was that we didn't get to see the 'sparkly red suit' that everyone is talking about over on DS and that Lee Mead didn't turn up to sing a duet like he did at one of the other venues (that makes it two disappointments!! :lol: ) A wonderful evening.....now... all I need is a Darius Danesh concert (or several) showcasing his new album and I will be a very happy bunny!!! :D Julie

As you say, he can't help but be sexy, whatever part he plays, but..... was he good!!?? :D I'm so pleased that the programme is being shown in other countries, even if we haven't had the chance to see it yet.... hopefully it won't be too long now!! :dance: Thanks again..... keep posting!! :D Julie

I keep hoping that he may be in the running for a role in either of these shows - apparently an announcement is due on 7th May re Phantom but whether this will relate to the casting I don't know....... Julie

Hello everyone :hi: I've just got back from seeing Tina Turner and what can I say other than........WOW!!!! :yahoo: She was totally amazing!!! :winner: That was an experience that will certainly never be realised again!! :cry: I'm pleased to hear that Rhydian was excellent in concert Sue - I'm going to see him on May 18th. I must admit that I was disappointed with his album - his voice is incredible but I found the tracks all too much in the same vein!! He has promised that his tour will be more of a mixture and it sounds as though it is - I want to see the 'performer' as well as hear his voice!! If you're reading this Darius, we all miss you - where are you?? I hope you have some wonderful news for us very soon!!!!! :music: Julie

I certainly don't think that the show has been 'axed' completely - perhaps 'put back' at bit!! Nothing certainly happens for Darius the way he thinks it is going to!!! :( The notice at the top of the 'Hotel Babylon' site has been there since the first time I looked and way before DS announced that Amy Nuttall had been signed to film in the last two episodes. I should imagine that when the BBC do decide to go with the series a new website with all the new cast will be shown..... but, of course, .... we may have a while to wait yet!!! :unsure: I just hope that we will see Darius involved with another project very very soon!!!! Apparently auditions for POTO 2 are beginning this week or next, so if Darius is seen in the UK in the near future, we can but hope..... or dream!! :D Julie (And, of course, we have the album to look forward to.........)

Well....... there are some wonderful pictures of Natasha (she looks absolutely stunning!!) over on Wireimage of her attending Elton's Oscars Party, but not a sign of Darius!!! :( WHERE ARE YOU, DARIUS?? (Surely, he would have escorted Natasha to this event if he possibly could - I only hope that he had a very good reason to be elsewhere!!) Just think of all the networking he could have done! :lol: I'm disappointed because I thought we would have some lovely photos to look at today! :( (It's nice to see Terri Seymour and Simon Cowell back together again! :wub: :D ) Julie

In the 'Daily Star' the other day there was a snippet that Lee Mead and Denise van Outen are in talks to be Marc Bolan and his girlfriend in '20th Century Boy'. Marc Bolan is a part that I think would really suit Darius (even though I know Marc Bolan was quite small!) - Lee Mead must be well over 6'! I would love to see D in a 'rocky' musical!! :dancing: :wub: It's nice to see Darius included under the VIP section of guests in the 'Oliver Awards' video on the front page of Dress Circle. There is also a video showing Gareth in Joseph and he certainly looks and sounds very good!! :D Julie

Yes, I'm afraid so!! :( Ryan Molloy Douglas Hodge Matt Rawle and then Darius with 14.3%. Matt Rawle only got 15.6%, so considering GWTW finished back last June, I still don't think it was a bad result! At least there won't be any 'back-biting' about him being too highly placed!!! :) Julie

I'm afraid there is no mention in next week's TV and Satellite nor in the new Sky Magazine!! Posters on DS just assumed that Hotel Babylon would follow on from Hustle in the Thursday 9p.m. slot but all Dexter Fletcher said on Loose Women was that Hotel Babylon would be returning in the Spring. He didn't make it sound like it was very imminent!!! :( We will just have to wait and see - at least it is being mentioned - I was beginning to wonder if it had been scrapped!!!!! Julie

Is the dark-haired girl at the back who turns round Kate from the 'Incredible' video - it looks very like her? She is also the girl who has been appearing regularly in the advert for renewing your car-tax!! As well as the lovely interview with Gareth, there was a small picture of Darius in last week's 'New' magazine. It was under an article entitled 'Geri's Shock Engagement' - there was a line-up of 9 'Spice Boys' who Geri has been linked with over the past decade and Darius was between Jerry O'Connell and Sacha Gervasi. He was 'linked' with her from October-November 2004. It doesn't seem possible that it was that long ago - doesn't time fly!! :D Julie

Dexter Fletcher is appearing on 'Loose Women' tomorrow. I assume he will be promoting Hotel Babylon (he plays Tony, the concierge in the programme). You never know, D may even get a mention, but if not at least we will find out more about the programme itself (I've never watched it before!)! Maybe Nigel Harman will do some promotion - I would like to think that he may mention Darius in discussion if he does! :) 'Hustle' finishes this week so we may not have too long to wait now Julie

Voting is supposed to continue until 31/1 and I hadn't voted yet (I was saving my vote until next week!! :) ) but I've just been over and voted just in case!! Maybe they are just sending that e-mail out to people who had already voted! Has anyone else had an e-mail from WOS suggesting that they vote for 'Jersey Boys' and listing the four categories that the show is nominated in? There are several complaints over on the WOS Forum and Dress Circle saying that it is not very ethical behaviour!! ..... and I certainly agree with them! :angry: Anyway.... I hope voting does continue until 31/1 and.... although I do think Jersey Boys will do well..... I hope Darius' votes show the 'powers that be' just how really good he was in GWTW! Julie

It looks like Darius didn't stay in the UK for long!!!! There are pictures over on Natasha's site of her arriving at a function on Tuesday, 20/1 and it certainly looks to me that Darius is driving the car!!! He must get exhausted!! Julie

I've just been transfixed looking at the 'autogallery' again over on westsound (to get the autogallery you have to click on the small 'f' in the blue square and it takes you into Facebook) and I've just noticed that every time a picture of Darius comes up the rating goes up from **** to ***** !! lol!!
