He is definitely in America....he is hosting the US Chamber of Commerce IP Champions Gala in Washington on 29th October! At least we have some news of him! :rolleyes: Julie

What on earth is going on with Darius??? Where is he? I was looking forward to the release of the film 'Tomorrow', which he has been on the list of the production crew for the past year or more.....I looked today and the film has been removed from his IMdb page and his name is no longer on the production crew list!!?? How can this be? I hope he is OK and all is well with his family? :???: Does anyone know anything? Julie

I noticed that the other day Polly......I hoped he had withdrawn from that because he had been offered something better that he couldn't refuse......I keep looking but there's no mention of him anywhere!! :cry: I just wish he would let us know what he is up to, but....I fear.....he just doesn't want to be in the limelight any more.....hope I'm wrong! :( Julie

I wish we had been able to see this too....he looked great as a 'beast'!! :D You never know the pilot could be shown as a 'one-off' sometime in the future! I've just looked at D's IMDb page and he is now producing his 5th film called 'Godfrey'. It is filming now in Canada through until September. It is listed as an 'adventure' film but no mention of the cast! Maybe after September we might get something more music orientated.....we can hope! :unsure: Julie

This is probably quite a good idea! At the moment it would be ideal to have any Darius information under one heading. He has said he is going to be involved with a big music project sometime this year, whatever this may be!! so up until this happens (fingers crossed :rolleyes: ) a thread in the AF Hub would be great! There are still a few of us here checking for any information and if it was all in the one place hopefully it may attract more posters back to Buzzjack. Look forward to whatever is decided :D Julie

Natasha would have had a lot more money than Darius!! Darius is a gentleman......it took a while but they sorted everything out amicably and they are still friends! :D Julie

Not sure which film it was, but Orlando Bloom dropped out of the film to make a TV series instead. Don't know if the film is cancelled or postponed! :???: Julie

That is obviously a new photo of Darius so, as it says, 'follow Darius on Twitter', I should imagine his Twitter page will be up and running again sometime soon! :please: :D

Darius has been a busy boy.....no wonder we haven't heard from him!! I've just looked at his Imdb page and the film that was 'In Development' has disappeared but 5 others have appeared that he has had/or is going to have a part in producing! Two are documentaries, one seems to be a reality TV show, one is a drama which will be in cinemas next year and one is a horror film that Natasha has the lead in!!! I hope this only means that he decided to have a break from his singing/acting career this year and is not completely going to concentrate on being the other side of the camera from now on! :( :o Hopefully, next year we will see/hear more from him! :D Julie

Did you see it Polly? You seemed so excited but haven't commented on what you thought!? I thought it was wonderful! I had seen it four times on stage both with Sheridan and Natasha but it translated to the big screen so well because all the facial expressions could be seen. The action was much closer and it incorporates every emotion! Hilarious but sometimes so sad! :cry: Sheridan is incredible....such a bundle of energy and she and Darius work so well together :wub: Even D's dancing had considerably improved! :dance: Darius looked so handsome ......and it was a real bonus having him talk all about his audition at the Menier Chocolate Factory during the interval. I hope this is included if a DVD is released. Apparently Natasha Barnes was at our cinema with her parents....I didn't speak to her but friends of ours did......such a shame she couldn't somehow be included! :( I thought it was weird that D's name did not appear on the credits until the second page!! :angry: and also strange why he did not promote it in any way......I can only assume that he is too involved in his film production work and that theatre/music is not his top priority at this time! :cry: Having said that.....as Funny Girl was shown all over the world I hope offers will be flooding in after seeing/hearing how wonderful he is on screen! :D Julie

Funny Girl is being screened 'globally' on 24th October, not just in the UK!!......That's got to be good promotion for Darius for whatever he has coming up next! :cheer: Julie

Just found information on google to say that Funny Girl, the film, will be shown by Empire Cinemas and various others beginning 24th October......at long last! :yahoo: Julie

Darius was at the Press Night for Orlando Bloom's play 'Killer Joe' in the West End last night. It was Orlando Bloom's next film that Darius was supposed to be co-producing but I think Orlando changed his schedule - hence no news about that!! Hopefully, it is still 'in the pipeline'! Julie

The financial settlement took a while didn't it!!.......it seems from the last pictures of them both in LA that they are still on good terms! Now that is all finalised, hopefully he is OK and we can expect to hear more of how his intended new projects are doing! :unsure: There are a couple of pictures of him at the Princes Trust Awards at the London Palladium on Tuesday, so at least he is now back with us in the UK! :)

In the programme for the Carol Concert Darius did in Glasgow Cathedral it was printed that Funny Girl was filmed for a Christmas release! I've been keeping my eyes open but nothing.....as yet!! :rolleyes: Maybe it will be next Christmas! :D Julie
