No, that's true - but once they're in, then, hopefully they will notice. At least it will get them into Buzzjack and we have to face the fact that too many people don't even know Darius is still on the music scene and so will not be looking for him purposely!! It would obviously be better for him to be listed on the front page and I know that we all tend to think he is being completey overlooked when this sort of thing happens - all we can do at the moment is promote him as much as we can and enjoy our Forum (afterall, it is one of the most popular on Buzzjack!!! and I believe we will be Buzzjack's No.1 Forum in the not too distant future!! :dance: Julie

Now I am getting confused!!! Why will our views have gone down just because we aren't listed on the front page? I thought our views must have gone up - we've gone up on the Forum chart, so the views must have gone up haven't they?!! I assume it means that Darius isn't 'googled' as much as other Optional artists, so to get more people signing to the site they have listed the most popular artists on the front page so as to get them to enter the Forum and sign up. The more members 'Buzzjack' have, the more people will maybe discover what Darius is up to - and that's got to be a good thing!!! Hopefully, it won't be too long before things start to happen again and more people will want to find out what he is up to!!! :D Ramble, ramble, ramble......!!! :lol: Julie

Thanks Meg.....I think I understand what is being said, and I suppose, under those circumstances, the situation is fair enough!! :) I read somewhere that there are now 61 artist forums and only 43 are listed on the front page at the moment, so it does not only apply to Darius (which I originally thought was the case!! :rolleyes: ) Hopefully, when things start to happen with D's new music, the situation will be reviewed. I never really watched 'Popstars', but when Darius walked out on Pop Idol without the beard and with short hair, I just said out loud - "Wow, who's that? The only two people appearing whom I had heard of were Victor Spinnetti and Sherie Hewson - there were several musicians and a pianist but no Darius!! :no: They did say that there would be a 'surprise guest' though!! :thinking: Julie

I know... it certainly is a rotten world out there!!!.... Darius would take in on the chin and come out fighting! :lol: and I like to think that after all that Gareth has been through he is strong enough to do the same!! As long as they did reasonably well on the show and didn't make total fools of themselves I believe anyone who partakes in something so difficult demands a certain amount of respect. Yes, I saw adverts for Anthony's tour in the Sunday papers, too, Preston. I think that all the Blue boys are talented and all capable of 'making it' on their own! It was advertised that he would be singing songs that Blue made famous and new songs (which I assume will be his own!). He is perhaps doing this prior to releasing his own album - which I would think would be the obvious way to go!! Maybe, this is what D has in mind when he said that there would be plenty of gigs next year - we can only hope!!! :yahoo: Julie

Hello BT - good to have you back :D As you say DOI demands great skill, and we know how much D likes a challenge!!! :dance: I agree that Matt and Emma gained nothing sales-wise after appearing and I do tend to think that the public are very cynical about celebs appearing if they think they are only doing it because they have something to promote!! - so in that respect there would probably be plenty of sarcasm if D did decide to appear! (......but, although it would be a risk, I still think it would be a great way of getting back into the public eye :D ) Julie

Very true, Meg, and apparently auditions have already begun!! According to DS Gareth is rumoured to be competing and to be honest I think he would be silly to turn it down, if he was confident he could do it, of course. I don't know when he is planning to release more of his music, but a show like DOI certainly has a huge audience and would endear him to the public again!! Apparently all of the competitors have to have an understudy, so perhaps D could be Gareth's!! Both Gareth and Darius will have to do something to ensure that their music will get the necessary radio play/media coverage when they come to release and I do so hope that their management is working hard for them both, especially as I have read that Will is planning to release his next album around next April!!! I like Duncan, I think he is very talented, I hope he does well. I have always thought that he and Darius seem to follow one another around workwise, i.e. Blue and D were always on the circuit together (along with GA) and then Duncan taking the role of Billy Flynn (I wonder if he asked D's advice!?). In the Daily Star the other day!!! there was a snippet that Will Young had been asked to take part in Dancing On Ice and he had refused saying that he had done his one and only stint on a 'reality' show. As he had refused, they were (supposedly) going to ask Gareth Gates. I wonder if Gareth refused, they would ask D!! I know he would be criticised for appearing on a'reality' show, but we all know he can ice-skate and I think it would be a wonderful window to put himself 'out there' again before realeasing the new album. It certainly didn't do Duncan any harm!!! Any comments?!! :D Julie
