I would say all songs are emotional - most of them are based on love, which is the biggest emotion of all!! As I posted in the Pop Forum, I suggest that most songs can be described by at least one of the 'cheesey' definitions!! :D Julie

I had a short chat with Karl at Lincoln (as Darius was busy with Girls Aloud!! :rolleyes: ) and he was very friendly - and quite short too!! :lol: which was a blessing for me as he could hear what I was saying!! I have asked lots of times what people define as 'cheese' and no-one seems to know!! It seems to me that if a handsome man releases a track (whatever genre!!) and he gets up someone's nose because he is just so good-looking, then that person will define his record as 'cheese'!! I don't think I've ever heard the word 'cheese' in relation to a female recording artist - unless, of course, anyone knows different!!) I know, Baytree, I totally agree, the write-up would probably have been worse!! It's just that if I didn't vote for D I would feel like I had let him down :cry: - and I could never do that!! :D Julie

I think that Darius should definitely showcase his new music in America and also release there - I think he would go down great (if that is what he would want, of course!! :D ) I was referring to Raquel mentioning the 'Chicago run' - it sounds like she has been in contact with D and is asking if he would be gigging after Broadway?? - it obviously didn't read like that to anybody else!! :lol: Julie

If more of us had voted, then he would have been higher than 11th and they would have less fuel for their fire!! :D I can't help myself, if I see D in a poll I have to vote for him just so that people realise he is still around and well thought of (especially on here!! :lol: ) There are more posters on this Board who appreciate Darius than you realise and for some reason just don't like to publicise it in case they are ridiculed by their pals!! Even Graham had to admit that he loved 'Live Twice' So, despite it sometimes falling on 'deaf ears', I will always 'fly the forum flag'!! :dance: Julie

Just been reading comments on D's Myspace and Raquael wants to know if Darius will be gigging down the East Coast USA 'after the Chicago run'!! Do you think she may know something we don't or am I reading too much into this and she thinks he is still in the UK!! :D :rolleyes: It's this sort of 'wishful thinking' that gets me by!! Julie

It does seem likely/possible/feasible!!??, doesn't it SF, especially as he cancelled NUTS because he would be doing 'something else'!!!
