At the moment, possible dates are 17/6 (if that is his first day), 24/6 and 8/7 :dance: I'm not sure how many of us there will be on each occasion as Wendy and I are still waiting for friends to confirm. I've just watched Roy1988's video of 'the making of the Colourblind video' on YouTube - I've never seen it before and it was a joy to watch. Darius is just a natural in front of the camera and he seems totally overawed by the experience of making his first video!! :wub: Julie

Isn't this great news!!!!! :yahoo: I've just been trying to get through to the Cambridge Theatre but all I got was the 'Les Miserables' booking line!! Just as well really, 'cos when I went back on .net Rachael said D is still awaiting to confirm dates. I notice Chicago is not in the top ten bestsellers at the moment, so we should be able to get tickets :D The show will definitely be back near the top of the list in 2/3 weeks time :dance: Can't wait!!! Essex FM is my local radio station and although I don't listen to it very much these days because of certain grievances!! :angry: it is the main station I hear in the local shops. I have heard the DJs advertising the station as 'James Blunt free' and (although I'm not a James Blunt fan) I think it is terrible the way the media try to influence public opinion and 'play' with artists' careers!! :angry: Julie

If you look at the selections, Tim, you will see that not all the people from the Darius Forum have given him 20 points and there are also a few other people from the Board who have voted for Colourblind. I am one of the guilty people who would automatically put Darius at the top of any popularity poll, mainly because after seeing him on Pop Idol, I regained an interest in pop music. Before that, I had been so involved in bringing up my family and running a business, I didn't take much notice of any music! There are several other artists I enjoy, (e.g Christina Aguilera, Daniel Bedingfield, Darren Hayes, Simply Red), but not to the extent that I would support Darius!! :D There are lots of good songs in the Record of the Decade list and I voted for them in the order of the enjoyment they gave me (there were also a few I couldn't remember!!) :D Julie

Hello russt68 - I did assume the 68 applied to your birth year, that's why I put a ? beside 'young'!! Don't tell me you don't think D's music is 'uncool', no matter what your age!! :D You have to admit, no matter what your taste in music, Darius (and Gareth) are both very talented young men, and both have very strong followings. I don't know about Gareths future, but Darius' fans are all awaiting release of his third album, so, unless you have inside information, we will have to wait and see, won't we!! :D Julie

I don't think it's jealousy or resentment Baytree!! It only seems to ever be young? lads who have to comment that they think it is unreasonable for D to do too well - it probably is just that they have to be seen to be 'cool' and we all know that for some reason supporting D definitely is NOT!! :lol: D is too classy to be cool!! :D And... I don't think all of us have necessarily given D the 20pts!! (But I did of course!!) Julie
