On 3rd July it was P & O's 175th Anniversary and they had a 'Grand Event' at Southampton to celebrate with all seven P & O ships in port together. After the celebrations the ships left in convoy, all setting out on different cruises and, according to a new Darius fan on Facebook Darius was cruising and performing on board the Ventura. She commented on how much she enjoyed his show last Wednesday and meeting him afterwards! He should be back on dry land now so... hopefully..... we might??? shortly get some news!! Julie

Thanks Meg.....it's good to at least hear something new! 'Dangerous' is definitely my favourite of the three. I will always support Darius but this style of music is certainly not my favourite!! Hopefully the album will consist of a variety of styles! Julie

Yes BT that is the photo at the top of his Facebook page but he looks too thin in the face because his hair is so short and slicked back(IMO)- a photo of him at Lincoln would have been so much more appropriate!! :wub: :D I have 'liked' him in Diana's album but I'm afraid he is not doing too well amongst all the famous faces - great that he was one of her choices though! It seems that the 'rights' to her series of Overlander books have been bought but it has not been decided yet whether to turn them into film so the vote is just wishful thinking atm. Maybe if it happens in the future D will have a bigger and better reputation in the US by then and will be a more popular choice ...... if that's what he would like to do, of course!! :D Julie

I believe the UK tour of 'Hair' has been cancelled BT...... Hayley is doing very well - she is appearing in Thriller Live on the West End and is excellent singing Michael Jackson songs although it somehow doesn't seem right for a girl to sing them!! She was my second favourite on PI after Darius. Julie

According to a 'Chicago fan' over on Broadwayworld.com. the next Billy Flynn will be Tony Yasbek from 5th March till 29th April. Hopefully that means we may get to see Darius during March and hear more about the long-awaited album! :D Julie

There are some good photos of Darius singing at the After Show club and chatting to Ruthie Henshall on the 'After Show' Facebook page. He is staring into Ruthie's eyes and she obviously finds something amusing!! :D Also, I notice, 'something' is missing....!! :???: Julie

Thanks Meg... I just love that - his voice is amazing - he just puts so much into every one of his performances!! I watch that with a silly grin on my face for the whole time (just like I did for the whole performance of Chicago the other night!!). I'm so glad that we've got him back over here for a while, even if it is just for a short time :wub: Julie

If he is still hoping to get a part in Paradise Lost there is talk about it being made into a trilogy!! Wouldn't that be lovely!! :D Julie

Wendy and I always said that if Darius ever appeared on Broadway we would have to go and see him! I broached the subject with Neil yesterday and he said that he wouldn't mind if I wanted to go 'with the girls'. The only thing is that if he is appearing there in January I think it is a bit too soon into the New Year - Springtime woudl be nice!! :dance: I wonder if he will release his album in the US as well as here?? :D Will have to seriously think about it once he commits to his plans.... in the meantime I can't wait to see him again on the 23rd :yahoo: Julie

I can't remember the exact wording but he also said that he liked telling a story whether it be in song, on the stage or 'in film'..... so, I live in hope that we will see him on the big screen sometime in the not too distant future!! :dance: At long last it seems that his talent(s) are being acknowledged and respected!! :yahoo: Julie
