I just started a Big Brother 11 Rewatch. Underrated season for sure, split house, drama, and arguments right from the beginning. Laura I have to say was probably one of the best early boots. She had her finger on the pulse with how people thought of her and what was actually going on in the game. Casey was just evicted in the episode I watched. He was a dud, but he called out Jessie/Natalie as he was getting evicted and the crowd just ERUPTED :lol: Ronnie was one of the best villains in Big Brother. Just a pathological liar and a snake. Where's his second chance (I hated him, but BRILLIANT TV). Russell as well? I'm sure there's something coming up later in the season where I'll be like "oh, that's why I hate him..." BUT he was the one that called out Jeff's homophobia. Outside of Natalie he had the strongest strategic game on that side of the house. He's having a lot of fun and he was the most willing to play a fluid game. His temper tho lmao. Natalie I couldn't stand back then and I can't stand her now. Lydia v Natalie is great, however. Michele is pretty irrelevant in the first half but if you ever have a few hours free, read the Michele topic on Survivor Sucks because HOT MESS EXPRESS.

That sounds soooo lush. Honestly, I didn’t even realize there was a MENU until I started a second game on my Laptop. I ONLY just figured out there are eggs (and all the hatches I’ve had have been trash). I caught a Fire/Fighting Tauros with great stats and Flame Charge so I just spam that and a few other moves to death. I also finally got a DNA Splicer so used that right away. I still haven’t made it past that battle above - I definitely need to focus more on Strategy. Regular Pokémon games I usually just throw powerful moves on my Mons and I do just fine. This is definitely a game that requires a good strategy at times. Reminds me of all the awesome fan games I’ve played.

This is really good! I was disappointed that there was so much regular Challenge fodder on here (Kam, Leroy.. even Cara and Laurel should be on the Mainline Challenge still). It took me a hot minute to understand what the format is. Stars and Tops and Middles and Bottoms and Votes and Stealing Stars. Everything is just all over the place. Ayanna was a hot mess as always. I'm sad that it's come to Kam/Leroy v Cara Maria. I wish they'd work together. The women are stacked this year. I was sad Rachel left so early. Quite a few more men I would like gone. I'm surprised they sat on this as long as they did. They tried to make The Challenge franchise blow up and it never really did. Australia was canceled WHILE the season was airing. UK was renewed for a second season but that never happened. I guess the CBS Challenge wasn't renewed either. All Stars however has been renewed for Season 5, I think they're just casting now (Season 40 is filming currently).

Spicy v Anthony was EVERYTHING I NEEDED. That felt like an old school Big Brother fight! I think Anthony may have messed up, Victoria is going to DRAG HIS NAME SO HARD IN JURY. Crazy to think the next HOH will be Bayleigh, Lexus or Todd and none of them have won HOH yet. The only acceptable move is Bayleigh winning HOH. Putting up Lexus and Anthony and PRAYING that Todd wins and takes the shot. HOH Spoiler:

Yeah this is pretty addictive - I really appreciate the super quick gameplay but the strategy that goes into this is great as well. UNFORTUNATELY I lost to my Rival so my entire team of Level 120+ Pokémon are ALL GONE. I did try and pick up a new game again (probably 7th or 8th attempt) but didn’t make it very far :lol: I haven’t looked into the mechanics of this too much honestly. Is there an end to this? One of the Twitch streamers I was watching said he “beat” the game in his FIRST play. Quick Synopsis: First, you have to pick your team. You have all the starters from Gen 1-9 available to you. But every Pokemon you catch on your run becomes available for selection on your next. Catch a Zubat? You can start with it next time for two points. Catch a Raichu? Pikachu will set you back four points next time around. Each battle acts like a level. Win ten battles and you’ve cleared a floor. This is the only time your team will get fully healed free of charge. Between battles you can spend your meagre earnings on Potions, Revives, and other items, as well as picking one freebie to progress to the next battle. PokeRogue cleverly implements items from many Pokemon games to create interesting interactions. Lures from Pokemon Go, for instance, increase the likelihood of finding double battles, which offer twice as much experience as encountering a single Pokemon. While each floor has a level cap (which you can only surpass using Rare Candies, another handy item), you want to be as close to it as possible for the difficult trainer battles. The Gamer .has a great write-up on this. I failed my first few attempts but now I am really starting to gain ground - most of my Pokemon are now Level 100 with some really great add-ons to ensure I survive each battle. This works GREAT on Mobile!

As we enter the endgame of this season of BBCAN, a few thoughts. EVERYONE HATES ANTHONY! He's playing the best game in there and set himself up very early for the end game. His gameplay is utterly predictable and exactly how be played the first time, however, he doesn't have a "Dane" in the way so he will probably win (as he should). He put himself first and that's why he is where he is. Victoria: she soiled her game so badly that I'm surprised Anthony doesn't just stay loyal and take her to the end because he wins. Anthony converted all of Victoria's allies to be his allies. Victoria really stumbled with that Girls Alliance and she's not going to be seen as being loyal at all. She prioritized Anthony too much. Bayleigh I do like and I'm surprised she's still here lol. If she can pull out a move of some sort and take Anthony out, she would be a decent winner. Todd and Lexus however I don't see a path forward for a win. Overall I give this season a C+ (but open to this changing). It's the worst post-COVID BBCAN Season and doesn't hit the heights of Season 1-5. The twists this season were MEH as well. The Movie Night Massacre when we all knew Goose was going was so bloated. Another Chain of Safety as well? Lazy.

Yeah I’m having a hard time getting into this season, I’m still rooting for Venus (and actively against Q). Also RIP to Sonja from Season 1.

The first two episodes felt so bloated with new Contestants, Judges.. but the last two episodes have been 10/10. Absolutely LOVING: Nat, Savindri, Stephen, Sumeet They are 100% my Top 4 this season. Stephen initially I was like "who is this crocodile dundee goofball" but my word. He's like my Declan 2.0 I really underestimated him. Sav and Sumeet tho I just want to jump into the television and eat their food. What an amazing start.

Peacock has a dating show in development (similar to Ex On The Beach maybe?) where Reality TV “Couples” will decide if they want to pursue a relationship, or someone else in the House (or island, or wherever this is going to end up filming…) Blue/Jared and Reilly/Matt (Big Brother 25) as well as Joseph/Ameerah and a handful of Love Island contestants are all rumoured.

Masterchef Australia is back! Just watched Episode 1. I guess this is really the 3rd era of Masterchef AU. I miss Jock. I guess my biggest feedback was why they felt it appropriate to introduce 3 new judges, a fresh batch of contestants AND Jamie Oliver. It should have just been the Judges and Contestants for the first week, bring in the guest judges later. There is just so much going on. Loving: Khristian, Nat, Savindri Concerned with the lack of diversity this season which is unlike Masterchef AU. Just a slog of boring white men.

Venus gives me anxiety every episode :lol: I need her to get to the end! Not my fav season by any means.. but rooting for Venus and Maria!

I have to say I have pretty mixed feelings about the Movie Night Massacre. Essentially all that last week was, was a Double Eviction on the Wednesday. The commitment was made that we would find out who the 2nd evictee was on Sunday and they didn't deliver on that at all :lol: I felt that they oversold who actually ended up going home. The person that went home (Goose) always had a high probability of going home, so I'm not sure why they made HIS eviction into a Double Episode. It wasn't needed. I also felt that the delivery of the Movie Night Massacre was a bit bloated. But as a twist I did really like it. The true events of last week (Avrey HOH, Kayla Backdoored) was WAY more interesting than the Movie Night Massacre/Goose's Eviction and I felt that they really rushed through this. I'm surprised that Victoria was so willing to give up Kayla and not continue pushing for Lexus to be backdoored. I also feel like NOT using the veto was probably talked about quite a bit, but where was that narrative in the episode?! Kinda just rooting for Bayleigh, Todd and Victoria at this point. I'm surprised Bayleigh is still in and made jury. Todd I've really warmed up to. Anthony tho... he set himself up VERY well at the beginning of the game. They need to get him OUT.

However he’s put in sooooo much work on himself and is now starting to share and open up. Great to see he’s with such an amazing supportive partner. Also. He’s a bit of a ho on his Social Media :lol: but for me Paulie > Cody anyday.

As a Non-OG Grey's watcher, I had to binge heavily to get caught up, which I did about 6 years ago. I think we can all pinpoint a time when the show stopped being amazing but for me, it's always been watchable, I did get Grey's fatigue a few years ago and paused after Season 18. I'm starting to jump back in now, I guess I took enough time off because I couldn't for the life of me remember who is still on the show, who is with whom romantically, etc. But I see Teddy and Owen are still around <_< I think they should just keep this going for as long as they can. Haven't been able to get into any of the spinoffs. This show has a high rewatch factor. Especially the first seasons. Perfection.

The messiness this season just continues. That executive veto was probably the best thing that happened so far this season because the sides now should be: Dougie/Matt/Lexus/Tola vs Victoria/Avrey/Bayleigh/Kayla/Todd Sounds like Hot Chocolate is dead. I really don’t see anything outside of an Anthony win at this point. Up until this week I thought a Goose win was possible if Anthony wasn’t at the end, but I think Goose cooked his own game last week :lol: A Victoria win is possible, but if she makes it to the end without Anthony being there - I would be surprised. But this is the worst Post-COVID BBCAN. It’s kind of on par with the earlier seasons, definitely better than Anthony’s first season tho. HOH and potential Noms: !!!!
