Bumped this specifically for Season 35 which aired already, is probably one of my favorite seasons, I like that they brought back booking their own flights. Exceptional cast, but I absolutely ADORE Rob & Corey - my favourite TAR Contestants EVER. I don't want this season to end, but I'm just at the F5 episode now.

It's not a Country Album, it's a Beyonce album. LOOK AT THAT HORSE! So many songs don't even touch the Country landscape but still tie back into the album or her discography in its entirety. There are songs you could easily pop onto RENAISSANCE, Lemonade or B'Day and they'd fit perfectly. The tracklisting needs some work, I would have preferred FLAMENCO and DESERT EAGLE to be flushed out as full tracks, and drop all the interludes. On my second listen, growing to appreciate SPAGHETTII, LEVII'S JEANS and YA YA more. AMEN back into AMERIICAN REQUIEM is why you need to have the album on a loop, it transitions PERFECTLY. But also transitions into "I'M THAT GIRL" seamlessly as well. This stands out as its own album, but also fits in so well being ACT II and with the rest of her discography. Yes, for me not as instant as RENAISSANCE but so much here to explore as it's not quite as in your face.

AMERIICAN REQUIEM: what a start, I just wanted this track to go on and on. BODYGUARD: must be a single. DAUGHTER: sensational and out of this world I am GAGGED. JUST FOR FUN: would have been better without the collaboration if I’m being honest. II MOST WANTED: must be a single. LEVII’S JEANS: so rich and luscious, this collaboration works! FLAMENCO: 10-minute version WHEN!? Criminally short. RIVVERDANCE: smash and the transition into II HANDS II HEAVEN - wow. I’m claiming II HANDS II HEAVEN as my song. TYRANT: oh- I hear a smash, I can see this being EVERYWHERE. Top Four On First Listen: AMERIICAN REQUIEM, BODYGUARD, DAUGHTER, II HANDS II HEAVEN This does feel like a second act as well, so many nods to RENAISSANCE while being able to stand out on its own. LOOK AT THAT HORSE! 16 CARRIAGES and TEXAS HOLD EM sound like they have a beefier mix on the album, or is that just me?

I’m surprised Seema is still on the cast. I can’t stand Lystra. But Ampika and Tanya are both “Friends Of” this season. I don’t mind Nicole either.

I am also curious to see what ITV does next with Big Brother/Celebrity Big Brother. The positive reception to both seasons and impressive ratings that I think even surpassed their expectations. I think it's important that they don't pull a C4/C5 and bloat this moving forward. Do we need two Celebrity Big Brother Seasons a year? Probably not, so I hope this isn't on the table. From what I recall the ITV Series last year was a quick follow after Love Island? I wouldn't imagine they would want Love Island and Big Brother airing at the same time, but October always felt so late in the year to have a Big Brother series. Big Brother has always felt like a Summer Show. I found the Civilian Season duration to be as close to a Big Brother Season as I want (42 Days, they could maybe add on another week?) Celebrity Big Brother, definitely add another week. Also - big kudos to Will and AJ. They've come in and added their own flavour. They seem like a very natural fit for this. Especially AJ (do not SWoORURR).

RHOP: I'm not too sure what I think at this point. Potomac brought me into the Housewives Franchise and has been my preferred franchise up until a few years ago. They really need to fix this. I didn't watch this season but I'm surprised to hear Wendy dropped the ball because she was becoming a quick favorite of mine?! Candiace as well, it seems like the fans have turned on her a bit? Honestly, it only sounds like Karen and Mia had a decent season? Outside of the Housewives, Top Chef is back - always an enjoyment for me. Southern Charm was one of Bravo's big shows last year and is back into filming. SHOCKED to hear the news Olivia is out?! Leva's spinoff, although the ratings are atrocious, apparently it's very good. The Valley also started last week (Vanderpump Rules Spinoff) and apparently, this is off to a cracking start. I would have kept Annemarie as well. She was worth keeping around for the Crystal feud alone. I always get the feeling Bravo really listens to the fans when it comes to RHOBH and Annemarie was never set up for success coming in Episode 8 and completely being edited out.

Overall, I was impressed with this season. Was it the best season of CBB? No. Was it the worst? Not by a long shot. The biggest fail for me was how short this was, and how they weren't able to secure Sharon for an extra week?! There were a handful of people I knew. Louis, Ekin-Su, David, Lauren, Colson and Nikita - I've heard Fern's name for years but I've never actually seen her in action... and... :lol: They seemed hellbent on giving her a terrible edit that last week :lol: she was either crying or Anti-Nikita it was. Something :lol: Out of everyone tho she seemed to take away the most out of the experience. Two 2SLGBTQ+ Winners in a row tho - I stan! And although we saw Zeze and Marisha evicted in the same double, their receptions were both incredible and it does come with an understanding it was a Vote-to-Save. I want ITV to continue focusing on strong, influential black women (and men) because these two and Trish kinda made both seasons for me.
