@1753539832637219050 Coles notes: They seem very happy with the reception of this reunion, they said they would tour and do more music if the demand was there. New music never really came to mind when approached to do Melodfestivalen but it sounds like it’s something they’re open to. Sounds like they want to get some merchandise out there (they were wearing hats and hoodies). They’ll post to socials tomorrow when they’re going to hit the stage. They talked a little bit about memories touring. Original choreography came back to them quite naturally. Sara’s 32 weeks pregnant as well! They have more things to come, a camera crew has been following them around so they teased something here. They were asked to do Melodfestivalen in November.

Heat 1 Clips are out! Adam Woods: not for me but sure sounds like a belter. Samir & Viktor sounds great - hoping for a big performance (and a bit of nakedness) Melina Borglowe: no thank you. Elisa Lindstrom what in the early 00s pop song. Love this so camp. Lisa Ajax: I don’t like this at all. She needs to serve like she did on I Don’t Give… Smash Into Pieces: very good. Underwhelming heat actually? Lisa Ajax was a surprise disappointment. I think probably Smash Into Pieces/Adam Woods DTF and Lisa/Samir & Viktor AC but maybe Lisa won’t qualify at all. GIVE US A*TEENS REHEARSAL FOOTAGE.

So the first two episodes have aired, with episode 3 tomorrow I struggled with Episode 1. Felt bloated and so much going on but so much information repeated over and over. Episode 2 however was great! I’m liking: Mark, Valeria Nice to look at: Nathan I do like Viola, but her and Valeria together is… too much of a target and they’ll probably get separated soon.

Vida Villar: I’ve loved MER over the last few weeks! The performance was vibrant and fun, but yeah not really a winner. Very good tho! Mistra: probably the one song I’ve slept on this year. LIAMOO and Hanna Ferm want their staging back. This is better than MER slightly, but probably still not THEE one. Take Me To Heaven: cute, poppy, vocals pretty much on point too! The song is so lacklustre and forgettable however. But, very good performance actually. Kinda want this to sneak thru. He kinda ate?! AnnPrincess: this has been HIGH on my list since I heard the track - Top 5 of this year perhaps?! That whole performance and staging needs a lot of work however. Still one of my favourites this year.. but that performance wasn’t great. MIIA: this song hasn’t grown on me anymore since it was released. It’s a nice pleasant song but what is it doing here?! Vocals on point however. KEiiNO: Ulveham found rotting. This wins at Eurovision too. Perfect performance. I actually think these results could be all over the place. Some big names here but the tracks themselves are all lacklustre. I’m indecisive. I think MER, Green Lights and KEiiNO make it thru, but i also wouldn’t be surprised if one or more doesn’t. Heat 2 > 3 > 1 this year.

Thank you both so much again - today has been exciting. I think the reality of needing to be on a plane this time next week has sunk in. It would be very tight and a little disruptive. If A*Teens were an actual entry this year, I would drop everything. I'm so excited about their reunion but think I'll have to watch from home. I also would be working all day, so that flight from Calgary -> Frankfurt -> Copenhagen I think I would have been up for 36 hours and I cannot sleep while flying. I committed to be more spontaneous this year, but, that's a bit spontaneous for me :lol: This would have ticked off two bucket list items for me, but the unknown of what they're doing is enough for me to give this a pass. I likely think it's just tied into Abba and as much as I need an Upside Down/Halfway Around The World/Closer To Perfection medley, I don't think that's what we are about to get. But thank you both so much again. I had a heads up this may be coming and I'm so excited. Sorry for derailing the topic with Travel Plans - but you were both so helpful. However, I can still take time off work. I'm thinking of taking that time in March for the Final. Yes (I'm in Alberta). Calgary would be my starting point, I don't mind connecting via Toronto but would like to avoid if I can. I did find that I would have a layover in Toronto before Denmark (on the Iceland route), it was also more expensive - but actually Toronto to Copenhagen did have a decent direct flight! However, connecting on return.

I would either do Canada -> London -> Copenhagen or the flight from Canada to Frankfurt to Copenhagen (Frankfurt is the layover). I'm thinking this is a one-off (hoping for a 2025 Melfest Entry) as Sara is pregnant! I've hijacked this topic enough with my travel thoughts but thank you both. I'm still 50/50 but this ticks off two bucket list items for me.

That's actually very helpful, thank you. Realistically from where I am, my options are to fly direct into London and take a flight to Stockholm and the train to Malmo. There are no direct flights from where I am to Stockholm, so the connecting flight was Frankfurt and from here to Stockholm. It would be so tight for me! I would literally be heading to the airport this time next week to make it work. I wouldn't do this for anyone else but the A*Teens. I'm just so disappointed it's so last minute.. I'm hoping I can make it work.

I’m at the point now where I’ve asked for a few days off next week. I’ve never seen Melfest in person, but A*Teens took it over the line for me. It would be the craziest few days and expensive as hell. All of it for the A*Teens likely to be on stage singing Waterloo for 40 seconds. I’m sure their performance ties more in with ABBA versus their previous work. But I would die if we got a montage of their hits.

@1749924986645573995 Monica’s out. Now I’m back to wondering whether or not I’ll watch next season :lol: Edit: the final part of the Reunion aired last night. I agree having Monica exit is the right decision. She has no ties to this group anymore, she lied and I wouldn't want to film with her as a Housewife either. Monica isn't a victim in this, and her lack of accountability for how the IG page hurt the other women went completely over her head. I don't think Production gives a crap about Social Media and Burner Accounts at this point, so I think the fact that Monica played a part in RVT went completely over their heads, is embarrassing really. I don't believe Monica for a second that she brought this up to Production in her first interview. Heather finally got the roasting she deserved for the black eye, that last segment was very well done. We can finally move on from Monica and Jen Shah. We have all the answers we need. I'm excited for Season 5, this group is the right group now (please bring Mary back as a Friend) but I wouldn't be surprised if Monica pops up somehow, even as a guest.
