  1. All my favorites this season got cut before the final, wasn't impressed really with any of the three finalists. This seems stuck and stale now, definitely became a chore to watch this towards the end.
  2. Aaron's 2023 Big Brother Rewatches I occasionally go back and re-watch previous seasons of Big Brother - a few thoughts on my rewatches this year! Big Brother 3: So this is a required annual rewatch for me. This is my comfort Big Brother season. Is it the best in terms of gameplay, casting, and twists? Absolutely not. But this season started my obsession with Big Brother and I was addicted to the Live Feeds as well. There are likely two from this season that I would put in my Top 25 Big Brother Players, and they would be Danielle and Amy. Amy I was OBSESSED with. I shouldn't say the casting was terrible because it wasn't. The only three duds this season were Tonya, Josh, and Gerry - and I can make cases to why Gerry and Josh weren't that bad. Early Season: a few alliances start at the beginning of the game, there was the "Cool Kids" alliance (Tonya, Lisa, Chiara, Roddy, Josh, Eric) which had kicked out Gerry and Amy. A very shakey alliance, mostly formed by social relationships. However, Danielle and Jason cement one of the best duo alliances of all time. The only shock in the early part of this season was that Gerry was a sneak comp beast. The predictable people go first. Lori, Tonya, Amy (). But the game really started to open up when Gerry won that HOH and put Lisa and Eric on the block. This week was absolutely massive, it exposed a lot of the house and ultimately Chiara turned on Lisa while Jason appeared to be wishy-washy with his word. I appreciate Gerry and the bold move he made. Mid Season: This mid-season was off the hook. Chiara had just turned her back on Lisa. Danielle influenced the last vote and secured Lisa as an ally. Roddy and Chiara win and try to save face by pinning everything on Josh destroying their games and numbers in the process, while Danielle just laughed in victory. After this, however. AMY RETURNS. I still remember how floored and happy I was - but she IMMEDIATELY WINS HOH!!! I really wish Amy was working with Chiara and Roddy however, I loved (pretty much) everyone at this point, and although I will always love Amy.. I also really like Chiara. Plus Roddy is an absolute STUD. I honestly still walk around to this date and imitate Chaira and her vote to evict umm--- *looks to the side and slides hair behind ears* Lisa. It was a bit predictable from here as well.. Chiara, Gerry and Roddy all out next. Jason was an absolute sweetheart (and still VERY involved in the BB Community) but his inability to get Roddy out when he was HOH was disappointing to watch. End Game: One of the best Final 5's, I loved them all. Marcellas is one of the most influential gay men in my life, I realized I was gay while this season was airing so to see someone like Marcellas on the screen was amazing for me. I was a different person however after Danielle turned on him. I wasn't really expecting it. It was so cold. The first truly ruthless move in US Big Brother. I also miss the Luxury and Food Challenges they had in the early seasons. So basic like putting shapes into a cage and of course they only had to eat PB&J. I still can't believe Amy placed Top 4 - it was a miracle. Thank you Danielle for dragging her along. Final 2: So it came down to Danielle v Lisa. I can't believe our first (and second) Female F2s came so early in the franchise. ICONIC. What was also iconic was that every housemate was a juror and wasn't sequestered, and Danielle was absolutely savage (and took it to a personal level) in the Diary Room, so of COURSE she lost. Changes were made, but would have Danielle won in a sequestered jury? Jason: Danielle Amy: Danielle (100% she changed her vote from Danielle to Lisa due to the pressure of nobody voting for Danielle. Amy was one of Danielle's strongest advocates.) Marcellas: Lisa (I don't think he votes for Danielle. He was so salty for YEARS.) Roddy: Lisa (Lisa was at least loyal) Gerry: Danielle Chiara: Danielle Josh: Danielle So yeah. Maybe Danielle does win? I haven't given this any thought until this moment. Gerry and Josh were also very pro-Danielle. I however also don't see Chiara and Roddy voting differently, but, I also don't see Chiara voting for Lisa to win in a truly sequestered jury. Up Next: Big Brother 4.
  3. A few thoughts.. - Lisa Ajax, spotty history but I see there are some good writers here. - I always adored Samir & Viktor and very much welcome them back. - Can’t stand Liamoo or M&M - I love that Cazzi Opeia sent something again, but she’s competing against herself (Jacqline) in this heat. - Danny and Dotter probably both DTF already? - ELECKTRA *.* Smashing Into Pieces, Medina I’m excited for and I hope one of these two take out the win.

Wrong Network, Wrong Host. I’m surprised the BBC fumbled this, the casting is god awful as well. There’s still so many people left too.

  8. I just picked up VIP Standing for Dublin May 17th! Probably the ticket I’m most excited for! Hopefully the rumoured 2nd Belfast date is true as well, but as of right now I have tickets for 3 concert dates!!
  9. Congrats to everyone that has gotten tickets so far and wishing everyone gets tickets to the shows they want!! I don't think it has sunk in at ALL that I'm about to see Girls Aloud for the first time, EVER. I looked at London so strongly it's a big shift to think of seeing them in Ireland now, I've already started looking at hotels for Dublin ($$$)!!! and Belfast. The rumoured additional concerts seem to be coming true as well, I do hope they add the 2nd dates for Dublin and Belfast, seeing them 4 times would be incredible. JUST BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY AS WELL. Excited to make this into a little trip and visit Ireland for approx 2-Weeks. The excitement is starting to kick in!
  10. Well that certainly was an experience. I’ve never cued before for concert tickets, but there was no way in hell I was going to miss out on Girls Aloud. I was pretty open, cost wasn’t a huge factor for me. I wanted to do London, but, knew I may struggle to get decent tickets, so I always had Belfast/Glasgow on my backup list. I cued for both London concerts and never made it out of the cue. I just checked now directly again from the Ticketek website and I’m still in cue. I managed to get 1 VIP Seated for Belfast and Glasgow. I’ve never been to Ireland, never really entertained the thought. But, here we are. I’m open to selling my tickets if I can get VIP for London somehow, but I’m insanely happy to FINALLY see Girls Aloud live, even if it’s not in the country I initially intended!

Ohh I really liked The Traitors NZ! Binged over a holiday, I didn’t know anyone going into the show, but I definitely had a few favourites (Anna is Mother). I still have one episode of Traitors Canada left, but I’d probably rank: 01: Traitors UK1 02: Traitors US1 03: Traitors NZ1 04: Traitors CAN1 05: Traitors AU2 06: Traitors AU1 Edit: Traitors NZ has been renewed for Season 2!

Unfortunately I think Mike really fumbled picking Mickey and sacrificing him so early, I don’t think it’s possible for him to win at this point. What I think will happen: Roundtable: Dawn (Faithful) Vote: Trevon (Faithful) From here Leroy and Gurleen take out Mike, unless Mike can work wonders this last episode.

Thank goodness, had that Lee vote went the other way, I doubt I would have wanted to finish this season. Hopefully Leliani and Tinuke can keep the numbers on their side and get Pegleg and the others out. Doug is probably my pick to win at this point.
  14. Big Brother 6 (!) and Big Brother 17 will be coming to Netflix December 2nd. Likely just for the United States. I know they recently added 2 other seasons, however, nothing available in Canada. Hopefully this will lead to broader licensing deals.

That was my first instinct, but, why in hell would she want to return to this franchise given everything that’s going on? I think it’s probably best to put this on pause for now, come back in a few years with fresh eyes and perhaps a fresh cast.

K they can stop with the twists every episode. I’m running low on rootable players this season, out of the 8 left I only really like Emily and Jake. Katurah is just… there sometimes. Bruce can be next to go, followed by Julie.

Given the news in the last 24 hours I would be surprised if this franchise would still move forward in the immediate future.

I think this season was an absolute roaring success. I didn't dislike the length either - I don't think this really needs another week or two. Next season, perhaps a smaller cast? I didn't like all the doubles towards the end, but, it was needed. You know what I didn't miss? Intruders. You know what I wouldn't miss? Daily tasks. With exception of the last C5 Series, this was actually the first season I've finished since BBUK7. Even with the shorter length the content and interest was always there for me. Kerry was a brilliant early season villain, obviously we know the real villains showed their faces mid-season (Paul, Dylan and Chanelle). Just as I thought the season was going to get boring, it got interesting. This mid-season was top tier! Kerry, Hallie and Trish's evictions were the worst for me. I still remain disappointed with Trish, but I hope she continues to find her voice and influence change. Overall - I give this season a solid A!
  20. The people on the floor definitely look edited it, it may just be the lighting (and not to say others weren’t edited into the photo) but it’s legit! They could have put a lot more into that special by the looks of it. (Also why is Chef Joe looking fine… lmao)
  21. @1726768269762113961 How am I just seeing this now (it’s from the 20th Anniversary Special) ALEX BB9, Danielle Reyes, Helen Kim, JEN!!!, Lisa!!!

Breaking Masterchef AU News: Melissa Leong has left the series. Andy Allen will be joined by Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli. Jamie Oliver is now only a Guest Judge, but will kick off the new series which will air in 2024. A big shift as this was supposed to start filming in August, but is now only starting to film in the next few weeks. There was media reports suggesting tension behind the scenes, Melissa instead has moved to Dessert Masters (I think this is airing now, but I haven't checked it out) but this has already been renewed for a 2nd Season which will air alongside Masterchef AU in 2024.

This season for me has probably been the most fluid for who I wanted to win. I went from Yinrun to Hallie to Henry to Trish and now to Jordan. Is the Olivia win out of the question now?

The Survivor Auction is back baby!! Loved that twist where they had to earn their cash. Loved the actual Auction twist as well. By far the best twist they’ve done in this new era. Great episode overall, 2 stellar episodes back to back. The only thing that would make it better is if Bruce would just GO!
