I’m on the fence, but this is turning out to be pretty bad. Terrible hosting, that reward challenge duel win would never happen on Survivor. WHY IS JOEL NARRATING EPISODES?! Lee’s voice grates my ears and they keep putting him front and centre. Ugh. There are a few here I like, but everything else is pretty bad honestly. If they can somehow edit Joel out of the show a bit more (a lot more actually he has not stopped talking this entire challenge I’m watching) this has potential to be salvaged maybe? This seems like it’s building up to be a longer season if they’re already swapping people around and not sending Castaways home already (I’m on Episode 5).

Matt: I don’t know.. we played rock, paper, scissors. Jag: I BATHED IN YOUR BLOOD. I knew Jag was going to win as he was cutting Bowie, his logic and reasoning came to the table. His answers were complete and he took ownership. I thought Matt had this on lock but Jag really stepped up his end game to win, and I think he’s a good winner for the franchise. But yeah this wasn’t a top season for me.

Big Brother Australia is back, I turned it off after the 5th and 6th housemates were revealed. They just tried to do Love Island in a house and I’m not here for it.

I liked that they reused the Death Row task from the UK, added a very nice layer to the season. THAT EPISODE WAS EPIC OMG!

Also what is this Winter Season that Julie teased? BBOTT2? All Winners? Legends? Celebrity Big Brother? BB v Survivor v Amazing Race v The Challenge? I’ve heard rumblings of all.

I’m just so happy this is finally wrapping up. I love Big Brother but this season has been a chore at times. We can’t be too upset with the final result, Jag and Matt as F2 (if that does happen) it’s just like any other M/M Final 2 that we’ve had in Big Brother History, but this does look and feel different. Even if Big Brother isn’t going to change the formula on how they get their winner, at least they’ve changed the formula to be more inclusive. But with that being said, CHANGE YOUR FORMULA. We are heading in a direction of this being a Competition Based Reality Show like Survivor and The Challenge. I need Big Brother to lean more on the strategical side with it’s execution and the only way they are going to do this is if they stop creating these comp beasts and recycle these competitions over and over. The biggest accomplishment this season? Probably diversity. Yes, we did have someone expelled for using a slur. But what other RTV show would have Cirie and Felicia in the Final 5. Pre-Jury was unfortunately for me where the game lost the plot. Cirie quickly grabbed control with some numbers but let this slip through her fingers. She got bored and wanted to be flashy and it cost her. Booting Hisam was a mistake. Cirie didn’t need a shield at that point, but getting rid of her shield at this point wasn’t a smart move. Izzy was a huge loss for me as well. The Zombie week was probably the worst week in Big Brother History? So unnecessary. The Jury phase was just overly predictable with the boot order and was frustrating to watch. I could easily swap out a few on the pre-jury for jurors and be happy. I really need Bowie Jane out 3rd to make this season acceptable to me. Let Matt and Jag really fight it out for the winning position. If either of them win and take BJ I don’t think I would respect their win as much. I’m not sure if I have a preference for a winner at this point. Matt has always been on my radar as a potential rootable winner, however, his story isn’t as strong as Jag’s. Matt fumbled his end game with his inability to keep the numbers and have Jag stand out as a competition threat. As an ‘idea-man’ I don’t think Matt’s strategic ability rises to the top of his resume either. I’d make the argument that Jag had a better strategic game (at the endgame) and was calling more shots. Jag, of course, WAS EVICTED 10-0 and was saved by Matt. However, if we aren’t going to root for someone that wins a Buy-Back, why have the buy-back in the first place? If Janelle returned in Season 14 after being evicted, was a comp beast and made F2, we would all be rooting for her to win. CBS already has an eliminated winner from Survivor in its collection and their initial storyline was not successful, they weren’t deemed as a worthy winner. I hope for Jag (if he does win) that the narrative here is a bit different. I however don’t think calling yourself a comp beast against 2 senior citizens and Bowie Jane is a big accomplishment. If you really wanted the title of Comp Beast you would have at least gone head to head with someone like Hisam or Cameron and neither Matt or Jag really went head to head with a big competitor.

Season 7 was great, I don’t know why, I thought THIS was the final season, so was quite happy to find out this WASN'T the last season. I just don’t want to wait another year :lol: maybe I’ll (finally) give Human Resources a shot.

@1721101121203360157 The Block Auction was last night. I turned this season off after two weeks, it was unwatchable. However, I do love the auctions :lol: By way of Gogglebox AU I did stay somewhat up to date (hence this meme) but the Auction itself had a strong start!! $1.75 Million is one of the highest winnings of any RTV Contestants - I loved the look of Steph & Gian's place, they obviously were the very clear winners of the series. 20th season confirmed, hopefully next year I’ll actually watch..

The next season of Vanderpump Rules will begin airing January 2024 - get caught up now (and Vanderpump Rules has been added to Netflix in many countries now!)

That episode was pure chaos and the best episode this season by far.

Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Bravo has now moved RHUGT: New York from December to 'coming soon' following more racist incidents arising from Ramona. Ramona has also been removed from Bravocon panels . There was also another RHUGT filmed before RHUGT New York that may never see the light of day as lawyers are now involved. Sounds like a very sensitive situation where someone not related to Bravo at all may be bringing a suit to the network. With that being said, it sounds like we are about to get RHUGT: Ex Wives Club 2 that will begin filming after Bravocon. Here are the names being floated around, and location. Nothing confirmed. RHONY: the season definitely had a stronger start compared to how it ended. Honestly, I don't think I paid attention at all to either parts of the reunion. I think this still has potential, they do need to get rid of Sai however. RHOSLC: delivering a strong season to my surprise! Jury is still out on Monica but her mother is a nightmare my word. Mary is iconic, but this is the right role for her. I need her to continue dragging Whitney :lol: RHOBH: It's been confirmed the newbie doesn't actually join until Episode 8 I believe? Why is she full time tho lol. Crystal provided absolutely nothing to Episode 1, but Dorit is definitely going to deliver this season I just know it. RHOP: crickets. Southern Charm: my GOD the best thing on Bravo right now.

Big Brother Australia Season 15 officially starts November 6th! I think this is the first time since I was about 17 where BBUK, BBUS and BBAU were all airing at the same time.

I’m ready for this to be done now. Hopefully they’ve learned 100 days is way too long. I really hope they do find a way to make Big Brother work twice a year, even if the Winter/Spring season is a condensed Celebrity/All-Winners/Second Chance season. They’ve proved this is no longer a Summer show, people will tune in anytime. Live viewership may be down (but still #1 on most nights) but Streaming and the Live Feeds seems to be brining in a boatload of viewership. I’m fine with Matt, Cirie or Jag winning. I don’t even think I have a preference at this point. A Cirie win is a bit tainted at this point as she really didn’t win anything.. I wouldn’t put her win on the same pedestal that I would a Doctor Will win.

The Traitors AU has not been renewed by Channel 10. Hope they shop around for another network tho!

That Yinrun rule break was truly a reach from Big Brother, but I’m not unhappy? It means Dylan is up. But yeah I’m disappointed now with the direction this season is heading, numbers are starting to lean towards the white bread housemates that bring absolutely nothing. A black woman being labeled as Aggressive and Scary. Eek. Looking at the initial odds for the eviction it looks like Dylan is safe as houses, disappointing, but I’m not surprised. Quite annoyed.

Fantastic episode. But if I had to summarize one housemate.. Jenkin - hot and miserable. He’s returning to the insufferable housemate he was those first few days. He needs to tone that down because I definitely would prefer Paul going first.
