I decided to finish watching, despite a disappointing start it had a very solid last few episodes. The Final was incredible and kudos to the winner!
  2. Renewed for Season 2, filming starts in the new year and calls have started going out.

Just wrapping up my last few categories! Best Reality TV Show 2022 Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip 2, Peacock The Challenge: Untold History, MTV Big Brother Canada Season 10, Global TV The Mole, Netflix …and the winner is: Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip 2, Peacock This was actually a very strong year for Reality TV Overall - some great wins by some very amazing individuals. The four shows above really do capture the Best of the Best on a great year of Reality TV Watching. Ultimately, the win went to RHUGT2:EWC. AKA, The Real Housewives - Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex Wives Club where they controversially took several FIRED housewives, and threw them all in Former Housewife, Dorinda’s Blue Stone Manor in the Berkshires. ICONIC for anyone that watches the housewives. Season One I have to admit was a little MEH, but this absolutely shook up the franchise with many Ex-Housewives securing their spots BACK on their initial franchise (or, if you’re Taylor Armstrong - joining another franchise all together). This was such a delectable little treat we received this year. A very easy watch despite all the drama we received. Best Reality TV Moment 2022 Taylor Wins, Big Brother US Season 24 Taylor’s Final Speech, Big Brother US Season 24 Triple Eviction, Big Brother Canada Season 10 Snatch Game, Ru Paul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 7 …and the winner is: Taylor Wins, Big Brother US Season 24 I mean, this one was a clear winner in my books. I’ve already GUSHED on my love for Taylor Hale and she’s already won my Best Reality TV Winner this year, but let’s continue. Her final Jury Speech (below) is without a doubt one of the best Big Brother Final Speeches, ever. Let’s not forget that Taylor won HOH mid-game and, was kinda a flop. She won favour with the house but her HOH was a little messy, wanting to potentially nominate an Alliance Member over keeping those in the house that were going after her. Taylor at this point had a lot of protection, so the game was never really going to be a challenge for her. It wasn’t until the Split House twist and she lost her #1 Joseph that Taylor really started playing the game and developing the right relationships with Michael/Brittany and most importantly, Monte who took Taylor to the end. It didn’t look very good for Taylor at the end game, I was convinced Turner/Monte were going to take each-other. I thought unless Taylor SOMEHOW won that last HOH, she was 3rd at best. But - our girl did it, did it with style and grace. Her win WAS the best RTV Moment of 2022. @1574501225466195968 Worst Reality TV Moment 2022 Treatment of Taylor, Big Brother US Season 24 Tim Evicted, Big Brother Australia Season 14 Julie Eliminated, Masterchef Australia Season 14 Joi Loses The Mole, The Mole Netflix Season 1 …and the winner is: Treatment of Taylor, Big Brother US Season 24 Taylor has won my Best Winner. Taylor has won my Best Moment. However, we can’t forget the historically awful treatment Taylor received, pretty much Night One. We got to see this all unfold, live. The undertone and at times outright racism Taylor received was… disgusting. The list of what Taylor had to go thru in this house, even just in the first few weeks was enough to almost have me turn the TV off for the first time. We did eventually have a good group of ‘Leftovers’ rally around Taylor’s poor treatment and leveraged her experience to really turn things around. Things long term did get better for Taylor, but I did feel for her experience with Monte at the end as well. Best Artist 2022 Steps Beyoncé Rina Sawayama Taylor Swift …and the winner is: Steps Very close race this year, particularly between Steps and Taylor Swift. Steps ultimately came out on top as this is 25 Years in the game for them, the Platinum Collection and the build-up for 25 years was immaculate! We were so spoiled with 25 Year Anniversary Versions of their top hits. New tracks including one of my new favourites - The Runner. Their Platinum Collections Offering came right at the right time for me, during my Birthday in Vegas and was a great Segway to hearing more Steps during the summer!
  4. Justice for Gen 1 after Ash and Pikachu have been fired from the Main TV Series!
  5. Incredible performance, Hold The Girl is easily Top 3 Rina for me. What a perfect album to transition from Summer to Fall as well.

SLC Reunion filming today, without Jen. Statement from Jen: On September 14, 2022, I was informed by Bravo executives that I was not invited to attend the Season 3 Reunion. I was disappointed because I would have no venue to confront inaccuracies and address my storyline with cast members. Out of nowhere, on November 29, two and a half weeks ago, I was invited to attend. I was elated to learn I would now have a voice at reunion. I was clear with Bravo that out of respect for the courts and a standing judicial order, I would not be in a position to discuss anything related to my legal case or sentencing. Bravo found this unsatisfactory and said they expected to discuss this "storyline." That expectation has no regard for me or my family's well-being; so under legal advice, I will not be attending reunion. I need to focus on the most important thing in my life-my family.

I'm so conflicted with Salt Lake City, I don't know what to do. Honestly, they deliver best in group settings, but I'm struggling to find a Housewife to connect to. I don't care for Whitney/Justin. I don't care for Heather and her quest to be a Bad Mormon. I don't care for Meredith, Seth and especially Brooks. Lisa however I would throw some investment behind, but since we have moved on from her issues with Meredith, we've hardly seen Lisa at all. Finally, we're left with Jen. I'm conflicted with her as a Housewife in its entirety because I think it's all an act and it hasn't paid off at all. Jen pushing this narrative that Whitney was pressing the issue which isn’t true at all. She’s also pushing the narrative that it was an ongoing, open conversation at Lunch which also wasn’t true. However, flipping this and turning it back on Whitney/Heather was a masterful piece of work. SLC needs Jen because it makes the other housewives look a bit more tolerable. We need to move on from this Whitney/Heather storyline, it's not even that they aren't on the same page, they aren't even reading from the same book. There's no salvation to the storyline here. Just drop it and let's move on. They do need some fresh blood for Season 4 and they need to look outside of just Angie(s) and Danna. Doesn't sound like Angie K will be back either, allegedly, she's pissed she didn't get a Full Time spot and paid out of pocket for Jen's Party and her Confessional Looks, so she apparently tried suing the network and her contract was terminated.

Oh wow, that was unbelievable. I’m shook. They didn’t even think Gabler would get a vote, and that was the problem. They gave the win to the GOAT and it’s been AGES since that has happened. Still. So disappointing.

  11. Potentially Long, Late Post Incoming! I've been avoiding posting this for quite some time. Part of it has to do with timing, but overall a general avoidance on summarizing my love for Girls Aloud. I mean, there is no better place to start, but AT the start. I loved (at the time) anything to do with Singing Reality TV Shows, especially POPSTARS. Hear'Say, Bardot, Scandal'Us, Sugar Jones, Velvet Empire, No Angels, Bro'Sis, Nu Pagadi, Monrose, Six, Excellence, Supernatural, Eden's Crush, Scene 23. I loved them all, but I think we all realize every single one of them had a very short shelf-life. I remember watching (Youtube?) videos of Popstars: The Rivals. It was really just the performances I watched, I remember absolutely falling in love with Kimberly, Nicola and Sarah and praying they would make the band. I remember the support for Girls Aloud being overwhelming at the time, and it was great to see the band form right before our eyes. There was something really fresh and exciting about 'Sound Of The Underground' as a track, probably one of the best 'Winning Singles' from any competitive music based Reality TV Show. But, from here - I'll be honest I wasn't expecting too much other than 1 Album and we would never hear anything from Girls Aloud ever again (falling suit with many of the bands formed above). The Sound Of The Underground Album was actually released the day after my Birthday in 2003. I particularly fell in love with the Singles, obviously. But All I Need (All I Don't), Girls Allowed, Forever and a Night, Love/Hate all stood out to me, but my favourite album track from this album was White Lies by far. Outside of this however the Album just felt like your typical 1-Album Release from a generic Pop Star Group. I don't think it was actually until I heard 'The Show' where I'm like.. holy shit these girls are going somewhere. Everything released after The Show, I immediately fell in love with. I can usually place almost every single important life event from the age of 15 - 25 with a Girls Aloud Album or Single. Girls Aloud were formed when I was 15 Years Old, watching old clips of their performances in my parents basement. I would spend hours upon hours watching and listening. I would have been 17 when 'What Will The Neighbours Say' came out. Grade 11 in High School, I remember a lot of my music listening would take place on my way to or from School. I knew this album inside an out. I can map out in my mind, 18 years later my route. I’m a habit for routine and Girls Aloud were a huge part of routine for me. Chemistry came right after I graduated High School, I was 18 and I had my first job. I’ll be honest I had very little direction in life, but this is when everything really started to come together for me. I had great new friends, a great job that I liked. This was really my glow up era. I really blossomed after graduating High School and the Chemistry Album with songs like ‘Models’ and ‘Watch Me Go’ were, a bit iconic for me. They played a lot into my self confidence as a person. However, I will have to say - my Relationship with Girls Aloud has always been a strictly solo venture. I had great friends at this time - started dating a bit, but every single gay male I met (Friends or Dating) either had no idea who Girls Aloud were, or mocked me for liking them. Including my roommate at the time. To this day I’ve never met someone that knows who Girls Aloud are, or if they do, like them. Unbelievably my last boyfriend (38 at the time) had NO IDEA WHO GIRLS ALOUD WERE (and we had a lot of music in common). Sent him a few tracks to listen to, and he hated them all. Don’t worry. We didn’t last lol. This also took place right around the time Sarah passed away. Truth time. I’ve yet to process Sarah’s passing. I’ve kept this locked up in a box in the back of my mind, because for me it is probably the biggest artist based loss that I will ever experience. Girls Aloud from 2006 - 2020 were my #1 Played Artist every single year, and for me, never getting to see them in concert, and now, never getting to see them in concert hasn’t sunk in at all. There is of course the lovely, amazing, sweet, fun, talent person we lost. There is a lot to unpack here and I’m not exactly ready (this comes with the combination that I have a close family member that is very ill, with dealing with depression and a lack of overall motivation at the moment). Tangled Up will always be THAT ALBUM for me. I was 20 at the time, I was just getting ready to move out for the first time. This album was everything for me. The Singles. Call The Shots alone was my #1 Song for, almost forever. Girl Overboard was probably the first time I was obsessed with an Album Track. Out Of Control - 21. I was a dirty boy in my 20s  I remember going to Vegas for the first time just as this Album was released. There is no better album out there for a gay kid in his early 20s. This was the album for my awakening as an Adult. I just remember being completely obsessed with Girls Aloud by this point. Their X-Factor performance of ‘The Promise’ I probably watched over 100 Times. As you can see, I was born and raised by Girls Aloud. They are my ultimate “Group” of all time. They are my Beatles. They are my Queen. They had such a massive part in my upbringing. They were there for my first Kiss, my first Job, my first Love. They were there when I was up and when I was down. I didn’t really realize that I was taking them for granted and.. well, things do eventually come to an end when you least expect it or want it. It’s been difficult listening to Girls Aloud since Sarah’s passing. I always have it in the back of mind that I still need to process this loss. I think out of anything, this long, rambling post that I have has provided me with some comfort that I can leverage Girls Aloud in the next chapter in my life.

Based on how strong The Traitors UK has been, decided to give the Australian season a go, and shockingly I think it’s f***ing terrible  I’m switching off just based on the lack of diversity casting. On top of that you choose 4 WHITE Traitors and any other diverse candidate is promptly voted out. No no. This is a joke, right?! The only iconic thing was Chloe actually having 2/4 with her “psychic” abilities but just walking out of that elimination. Here’s hoping the US Version is good, because this is an amazing franchise!
  13. I still find myself searching for this album constantly, if I don't listen to at least a few tracks a day, I'm listening to the full album start to finish. Here's how I'd rate things at the moment, but not a dud in the mix: Maroon Bejeweled You’re On Your Own, Kid Karma Lavender Haze Mastermind Anti-Hero Snow On The Beach (feat. Lana Del Ray) Bigger Than The Whole Sky Paris Dear Reader Labyrinth Vigilante Shit Question…? Midnight Rain The Great War Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve Glitch High Infidelity Sweet Nothing
  14. Wtf were those choices Moriah…..

It’s Miami Day!! :w00t: First four episodes out now, and I’ve already seen Jill Zarin  Overall, great package of episodes. Obviously, Alexia is the star of the season. But wow this Lisa storyline has been set up perfectly. That cold close at the end of Episode 4. Wow. The only other one I really care for is Marysol. The rest I’m kinda MEH on. Adriana had a pretty reduced capacity those first four episodes, Larsa I’ll be honest I’ve never been a fan. Nicole needs to find something else other than daddy issues and, honestly, nobody cares whether or not you’re getting married. Julia, meh. Now that they’re not showing her as Adriana’s puppet I don’t see much potential here at all. And Kiki should have had Guerdy’s spot.

Seems to be quite the popular franchise, and it's very interesting to see Reality Stars/Celebrities working with regular folk. Cirie, Stephenie, Kate Chastain and Brandi Glanville are all great casting decisions in my mind. Can't wait!

@1600195756925005824 I am never usually a fan of Showmances, but oddly enough I always found Tyler and Angela very suitable for each other and I appreciated their restraint during their season together. Shame they didn’t make it all the way, one of the better BB Couples that’s for sure.

Big Brother 10 & 14 have been added to Netflix, oddly enough. However, the gallery images they are using on the app includes houseguests from other seasons, including other names in the cast summary - so maybe more to come?!

Best Reality TV Winner 2022 Taylor Hale, Big Brother US Season 24 Reggie Sorensen, Big Brother Australia Season 14 Billie McKay, Masterchef Australia Season 14 Maryanne Oketch, Survivor Season 42 …and the winner is: Taylor Hale, Big Brother US Season 24 PHEW. What a year for Reality TV Shows and their winners, the list above is honestly the creme of the crop. We have 2 previous winners that RE-WON their franchise, and we have two strong black female representatives in Reality TV Shows that have serious issues with strong black representation. The fact that we are on Season 24 of Big Brother and have only ever had 1 other Black Female make the Final Two is insane to me. All of these women are absolute QUEENS. Top of their game, some of the most talented and dynamic women of all time. However, of this group we do have a clear winner - Taylor Hale. If you would have said Night One that Taylor was going to be at the end, and our winner. I wouldn’t have believed you. If you would have said Pre-Jury that Taylor was going to be at the end, and our winner. I wouldn’t have believed you. If you would have said Final Three that Taylor was going to be at the end, and our winner. I wouldn’t have believed you. There is a story here that will continue to be told. Taylor, hands down is probably the most popular Big Brother winner, ever. It’s been less than 2 months since Taylor won and her world has not stopped. Endorsements. Absolutely WINNING in the court of public opinion. Her light shines probably the brightest out of any Reality TV Start that I’ve seen in the last 20 years. She is the most winned Big Brother player of all times. The $750,000 bump in the prize pool. $50,000 for winning America’s Favorite Player - but probably the biggest prize, was Joseph. I am DEFINITELY not saying a man is better than $800,000 - because it’s not. But I honestly think that Joseph and Taylor have the potential to be the next IT couple. I’m so glad they found eachother. Our girl is just WINNING Best Album 2022 Beyoncé- Renaissance Rina Sawayama - Hold The Girl Foxes - The Kick Taylor Swift - Midnights …and the winner is: Beyoncé- Renaissance I’ll be completely honest, this if the first Beyonce Album I’ve ever listened to front to end. Of course I’ve heard all the big tracks, but I’ve never really had an appetite to explore Beyonce any further. My listening habits with music have definitely evolved over COVID, I find myself spending more time in an Album than I am one off Singles. I think this was actually one of the first albums that I stayed up for the night of the release, and listened with everyone else. This album had me in a complete chokehold from the moment I pressed play. Everything I was wanting for, and looking for, was here. I found this album to me was almost like a drug - the transitions from track to track were amazing, but I also found each track stands on its own. Throwing it into a Playlist or Shuffling the tracks, although not ideal - still gives me the hit I’m always looking for. Top to Bottom, I can’t find a bad track. I can’t find a track I wouldn’t use to fit in to certain situations, or be excited to listen to. Months later, I still have this on my regular playlist with no intention of letting go anytime soon. KUDOS BEYONCE. You did it.
