The month between 25th April 03 when the BQT was finished and our Alexandra (the Dive In Tour Baby) was born and 26th May, the morning after the night before of the end of the Tour was a month like no other I have ever experienced. We lived that tour with him, we had waited so long for it to arrive and we were not disappointed. Stardust fell on us all. Is it right to be nostalgic for something only three years ago? I am just scared we will never have anything like that again. Its likely we will not because of several reasons, most of all the problems faced by the fact that his fanbase has shrunk I can think of so many people who went to the Dive In Tour who should be here on this board or any other established for him and they have just disappeared. Anyone know of the whereabouts of Winshill - Girl in the Trench BecksB Vic and Tree Stolen Kiss Swivelling Hips (aka Swiv) Metallicat and thats just the first six off the top of my head?? 25th May 03 at Hammersmith ... upstairs in the Green Room ... The BQT has gone missing. I have to tell Darius. He is VERY pissed off Six months work down the drain. John Brosnan is sarky and nasty to me, I burst into tears, Darius shushes me, rocking me, whispering in my ear "Dont cry, Dont cry ..whisht now ... (a Scottishism so reminiscent of my Dad .. makes me cry even more) Dries my tears with his fingers and there is my lippy all over his neck.... The gig ... what a finale to the tour. hardly anyone bothers with the support band everyone in the foyer. Meeting Avril, Cyrus, Booth, cousins and everything. Cyrus calling me "The Quilt Lady" Meeting so many people The love there was palpable The Performance. He was just loving it ..... in his element, the most prestigious gig of the tour where his critics could just go eat $h!te. Girl in the Moon with Penny. The steeplechase over seats to get to the front, Someone groping his bits and him saying "Have you had a good night tonight? Someone down there has ......" PMSL!! When he came out with "Fk it" PMSL again!! Out in the foyer seeing Chesney Hawkes, Sinead Quinn and the former members of the band Greg and Deeral Pics with Spencer and Karl ... The finale ... the band and the entourage went off for their party and we went back to the Novotel for OURS!! Swigging champagne from a bottle, being whirled around by Zooey, having the whole of the Dive In album on the jukebox, doing "we are not worthy" to Penny when GITM came on Someone crashing off their bar stool absolutely pzzzing themselves laughing. Having the big pic taken and knowing everyone was there for one thing .... our darlin Darius Endgame. I cant remember arriving, very drunk in Becks room but I was found there at 11am .... I saw the sun come up and it must have been about 6.30am when we were thrown out of the bar .... Abs couldnt find me. "Has anyone seen my mother .. she has a long black coat on " It was a day I shall never forget and a night etched on my memory for eternity. Cementing together friendships which I hope will last forever, Darius, if you get to see this darlin, there is no one like you. You have enriched my life a thousandfold Please come home

Without a word from himself (which would be quite easy, this is the World Wide Web .....) we can only speculate on what he is up to. Faith in Me keeps rumbling around my head and I have great faith but without some word I sometimes (at least for five days every month ...) want to get on a plane, find where he is and just say .. hey D ... come on .... whats going on??? It was great that Sonnet was able to find that snippet but FFS ... surely we deserve SOMETHING .... this time last year we had Haydock and several other gigs on the calendar. You had the best deal of the year my girl ... I think everyone connected with the blue and white ribbons, the BQT, the "No Darius, Thank YOU" signs and who knew you just FREAKED when he got you on stage and were FLABBERGASTED at the snog .... THUD!!!!

Gosh .. with our enforced absence we have missed severa "Anniversaries" including MINE My Darius Anniversary was 10th May .... a hug and kisses in the bar at the Hilton in Cardiff and a feeling that stardust was sprinkled on us all ... Three years ago tonight was the Bristol gig. Arriving in a stretch Limo, retrieving the BQT meeting Venitia Hibbert, she got it signed in its Birthplace, sitting front row centre and having so much eye contact, smiles, giggles, "full frontals" (hehehe!!) poor old Hazey nearly had her eye out. Steve bounding on stage yelling "hello girls" Karl waving sticks at us, Spencer doing a wave from the other side of the stage with the neck of his guitar and the best bit of all. When the GITMs were not giving him the reaction he wanted, he went through the motions with them and sang the main bit of it to me .... holding my gaze with those magical eyes ... in the end I said in lip reading style "love you" and he broke into the most amazing smile I have ever seen him do .... for me .... I cannot describe the feeling but it will live with me forever. Darius come home and do it again darlin ....
