Did anyone tape the Dusty Springfield programme .... I missed it due to being in work which I was gutted about She was an awesome talent just for "i dont know what to do with myself" alone. Thank you. I have made a conscious decision to aim for the picture I really really want. Ever since Hazey had that pose taken with him right back in November 2002 at the Great Scot Awards I have been longing to get that pic taken, just him and me. Perhaps it needs a bit of "intervention" Im happy enough to ask on other peoples behalf for signings etc .... sometimes its easier to ask for other people ....

I have always wished he was known by his full name. Its much more adult, more in keeping with the way he should be going. Darius is his name but the persona that is linked with just that name on its own is a million miles away from where he is now. I hope he uses his surname from now on.

Well, don't we all wish ..... Seriously!!! Whats the best night out you have ever had at an event featuring Darius? The best one I ever went to was Northampton Chicago Rock Cafe on 20th July 2003 He was just on top form, the band were amazing, the crowd totally focussed and to end it all, he spent what seemed like forever meeting EVERYONE who wanted to say hello to him I was fortunate to get a very warm welcome because of the previous time I'd seen him I was in pieces over the loss of the National Tour Banner that I had made ... he understood my distress and on seeing me again he was just all I could have wished for. It was a very special night when stardust was sprinkled on us all. Ive got my best pic of that night all framed up on my wall .... so I cant post it .. but I shall have a go another time

I knew straight away and I was shocked to find I had voted for the ones already in the lead Tear Run Dry is just the most evocative song of the Dive In era and should have been on the album... totally wasted as a B side In the Live Twice era .... Faith in Me!!! my ultimate favourite It has energy, buzz, umff and the subject matter what is basically two fingers up at the likes of Victoria "The Witch of Wapping" Newton, chief hack of The Sun Bizarre page and Rav Whatsisface of NOTW is just TOP! The song blew me away when I first heard it and gets played over and over again. He has got to do more like this

The original was Johnny Hallyday in France ... Who? I hear you say. Since the 1960s he has been THE biggest and most well known singer in France yet virtually unknown outside of the Francophone World .... He has had hit after hit but never took the step to sing in English and try to make it elsewhere A sort of Cliff Richard of La Belle France ....

I just feel sorry for the bloke .... he puts his heart and soul into winning, then gets the $h!te treatment by not getting a decent set of songs to sing I bought Thats My Goal because I loved the song. I have the songs he sang on X Factor on vid so I dont need them again and since the songs he has "covered" are other peoples cast offs then all in all, its a bit of a rip off isnt it? He does look bored in his pictures ... hardly having "a better life" which is what he was wishing for during the series unless of course a better life consists of his pick of the groupies, a drugs supermarket if he is into that sort of thing together with gross tiredness, don't see your family from one week to another and the chances of losing the girl you were engaged to before this all started.
