Yes but as PIP says these have been there before some different ones like tear run dry!! or other B sides would b e welcome. A lot of people outside of us will have heard those before. Something different would bring him more to peoples attention.
  2. Quote Baytree - know what it's not for me - Ricky Gervais, James Corden, Al Murray, Russell Brand, Jo Brand, Lucas and Walliams, that McIntyre guy and a whole host of others whose names have gone straight over my head, who don't raise one titter. all those who think it's enough to string some topical quips together with repeated swear words, puerile sexual references and toilet humour. I couldnt agree more, thats exactly what I think and the names that I agree with. I watched the apprentice bit of comic relief but Jonathon ross does my head in, cant stand him, always got to be the centre of attention so it was spoilt for me, I juast wanted him gone preferably permanently.

I actually wouldnt like to see him taking on a completely new musical again as a lead just in case. I think a musical with a dual lead as in Guys and dolls where there is another named lead be it male or female would be a better proposition again just in case, This is not to say he cant carry it he most certainly can but I think the media would tone down their comments in that instance.

He does seem to have one bad luck after another. Today have been scanning through OK mag with Jade on the front and there is a picture of Natasha at the oscars after party, yet again he is not included yet we know he was there. It has happened so many times I really think it is by design. There are other partners of of celebs also lesser known who are included.

Michael ball was on BBC breakfast this morning celebrating 25 years in musicals. He said the shows that gave him his big break and made his name was Les miserables. He also said that to continue this you had to keep at it appearing in gigs shows etc continuously. He has a new album out with his favourite songs.

Quote baytree - I think it's passion which motivates Darius, agreed but I think that passion might be Natasha.

quote spam fritter - should I pop round and have a word. Someone needs to. I mean her career is still going ahead so why is his not, he has management actually out there i.e. simon fuller and nigel lythgoe virtually on the spot.

A report on WOS says GGs Joseph is closing early. There is also a thread running about leads not appearing every night which I would love to reply to but know it will mean more jibes. quote - no lead in a west end musical does every performance - Fact its one of the reasons why an opera production isnt performed on every evening, the voice is a delicate instrument and needs proper rest. D never missed a performance either Guys and dolls, chicago or GWTW. It appears that a majority of the leads etc in other musicals do miss performances in fact quite a few of them do.

quote Baytree - don't want him to break up with Natasha because he seems to love her so much, but maybe that's what it would take to make him put himself and his own career first. I have to agree with this especially when I read of loads of artistes who are not in the charts but are releasing albums including lesser known artistes. There was an article in the Sun yesterday saying that Joss stone was performing at a concert for less than 500 people because of her fall from grace. Before she appeared before thousands but it seems the public didnt like her returning from the states with an american accent. Didnt something like this happen years ago with Sheena Easton. I think I would understand it more with D if he was appearing over there in gigs even small ones but that doesnt appear to be the case. Mel B and Cat deeley both managved by 19 however seem to be doing that. I know Im being critical but time is moving on for him.

I find it strange the songs on his my space have stayed the same for so long when he has quite a few B sides to choose from Tear run dry I think would be nice. I know someone else requested that on his my space but it hasnt happened and it seems that generally things are standing still. Surely a change of songs on my space site would be beneficial to him.
  14. I have just been reading through all the GWTW reviews again and seeing how well D did and the great comments still cant understand why nothing is on the horizon especially when Lee mead and connie fisher have new albums out shortly. Someone on Dress circle is trying to get hold of cast recordings for various shows and GWTW is one of them but needless to say his request for our GWTW got the usual comments.
  15. It wa a guested performance during comic relief. I didnt recognise Jason Donovan because of the makeup. It was originally a film starring Terence Stamp (far from the maddening crowd) and Mike from Neigbours who has made it in Hollywood. Cant remember his surname but a very good actor.I would think the tv performance will sell them a lot more tickets.

Although her original look for her first video was more sexy, I still feel that the song it represented was very strong - When I lost you. I remember humming it every time I heard it. I think had she had the promotion that certain others had I think she would have broken through with that song. As it was it charted at no.6.

This from DS Still nothing for Hotel Babylon. I have been checking the Press Office for details but still nothing. My guess is that as series 3's DVD release is slated for April 13th, that the series will begin at some point around that time (to maximise on ratings). Just looking around the site: The Tuesday 9pm BBC One slot becomes free on 31st March. The Wednesday 9pm BBC One slot becomes free on 25th March. No idea about the Thursday 9pm slot if I be honest!!!

I saw this programme and Sarah but didnt recognise her. She looks more like the girl next door and this is her second single release, presumably an albumn to shortly follow. I also saw Nicky chapman who was a judge on Popstars and Pop idol. She said she was still with 19 and had looked after the spice girls on their tour.I fail to understand why in connecti9on with 19 we hear regularly about other acts under their control i.e.WG, GG, MEL b, cat deeley, rachel stephen s etc etc but we dont hear about D so I asked my husband what he thought and he said its obviously his choice and I do wonder that. Its is five years this year since the releae of Live twice.

I know I shouldnt be saying this but I think Natasha has put on a lot of weight, she is looking a lot broader.

There are a couple of pictures on Natashas site of Darius hiking in hollywood with Natasha and Aria.
  23. QUOTE Baytree - It's been 5 years - that's a long time in music - Darius needs to treat this album like a debut one and put the same sort of passion into it, and that means being a bit more selfish and putting his personal commitments to others on the backburner. I'm not convinced he's ready for that. I have to agree with Baytree and Surrogate in what they say. I see Natasha is off to make a new film in Canada and has been in New york for the Heart charity. Time Darius focussed more on HIS career. One cannot just suddenly step back in the limelight after such a long layoff. In itself it will mean twice as much work and as Baytree says he needs to put his his personal commitments to others on the backboiler afterall Natasha is carrying virtually on as normal with her career. Many other artistes have the same situation but carry on regardless.
  24. I got the impression he was fourth.
