The reason I dont book the front row is that I feel its me on show there, I get embarrassed quite easily, much prefer to be invisible.

Regarding james bond, always thought of him doing this. However this has recently appeared - A special gala is being held next month to mark the centenary of James Bond creator Ian Fleming’s birth. The Story of James Bond - A Tribute to Ian Fleming will take place at the West End’s London Palladium on Sunday 5 October 2008 and includes appearances by a host of stars from the world of film and theatre. The evening, which is in aid of the British Heart Foundation and will be presented by Joanna Lumley and Stephen Fry, aims to “revel in everything Bond: the villains, the cars, the guns, the gadgets and of course… the girls”. A 60-piece orchestra will accompany artists including Lee Mead and Lemar as they perform their favourite Bond themes, while actors including Toby Stephens, Patrick Stewart, Roger Moore, Judi Dench and Jeremy Irons will “bring Fleming’s words to life”, reading extracts including previously unreleased material. Onedin line also has a special thing for me as it waas filmed at Dartmouth very near me and I met ann stallybrass who played his wife quite regularly but him only occasionally. She was lovely. They had a house in the town but recently sold it. Ill have to come back to you on what parts I would like to see him play, takes a lot of thinking about.

I normally sit in the back row of the circle at my local theatre, not of course at shows when D is appearing although like PIP i wouldnt book the front row. This is because the back row has so much leg room and a few weeks ago we booked near the front of the circle and neither of us could move there was so little leg room so we moved to the back row yet again and we had acres of leg room and a good view as we had the gangway down right in front of us so Im sticking with that here but it is different when Im going to the westend.

On DS there is a comment by natasha on Tom cruises wife apppearing in eli stone - Rex Features Katie Holmes's cameo in the legal drama Eli Stone was "exquisite", according to ABC president Stephen McPherson. Co-star Natasha Henstridge told People that Holmes was "statuesque and gorgeous" in the role, which required dancing and singing skills. The actress agreed to guest star in the show after being recruited by executive producer Greg Berlanti, who she worked with on Dawson's Creek. The episode will air in the US on October 2 Isnt it a shame Natasha wasnt asked about her role, isnt she in it all the time whereas Katie holmes is just guest starring but it seems she is getting the same block as D.

You can see Sarahs video fo the single etc on you tube. however I thought the video was very twee and the song forgettable. Her era of When I lost you was a much better song and its a case I think of wrong judgement on her part or 19 again in chosing and letting her go her own way, felt the same way about GG song virtually same comments. Nothing against the artistes just 19s judgement.Felt neither of these songs had any reel hook or if they did it didnt register.

Dont know if its anyone we know but quote from you know where. I'd love to see Darius and Denise Van Outen in a show together. I know she doesn't like him but their voices would be great together. I can't think what show I'd cast them in though. my comment -, talk about chalk and cheese complete opposite of Louise dearman.quote - their voices would be great together!!!! Denise van outen and darius - no I dont think so.

I saw Oliver and have to say it was brilliant as expected. The standard of singing and acting was exceptional. Even the local critics said the guy who played Fagin was the best they had ever seen including the westend and I have to agree. The other main parts were also very strongly sung and acted Nancy in particular outsung the ones I saw in the tv show for the part but the twenty children were so on the ball with some great chorus work. Apparently it has broken all records for this society who are nothing short of professional. We are very lucky to have such a professional society several of whom have gone on to the westend. My next outing is something different - a night of gilbert and sullivan with ex members of Doyley Carte. I love gilbert and sullivan.

Interchange thread - mark 4
Its awful when builders are in. I have had my son and his family for meals every night for a fortnight bcause they have no electric or cooker. Last night it was bathtime as well and today my little grand daughter is five so they are again here for just a present opening and cake cutting.(they have no walls etc) She is having a swim party on sunday for 20 kids. she has just started school and because she was at pre school and asked to so many parties they feel they have to reciprocate and killed two birds with one stone as her little brother was three in august and didnt have a party so they have invited a few of his pals as well.At last it looks like some progress, the kitchen is fitted but there is still a lot to do. Looking forward to a rest.

Me too meg. I cant understand it, is D unlucky but it seems that what he does ie. his tour , GWTW, albert hall concerts never get filmed yet other obscure things and acts do. Its as if someone is trying to keep him out of the limelight.

I watched it, he is good but I enjoyed my local singer glyn kerslake singing it better, would love to have seen him when he appeared in it at the westend. Liked the power of JOJ but not the quieter elements.
