  1. I'm loving Amy so far, it's up there with Good Riddance and Macy's Day parade when it comes to green days best slow/accoustic songs.
  2. Been listening to her non stop the last couple weeks, love the 90's sound of the 1991 ep and Fanatasea is a great mix tape, it's so refreshing to hear some actual tallent after having Niki Minaj rammed down our throats the last few years.
  3. Listened to the Uno stream, still not the old Green Day i love but much better than 21st cb. Shoot the DJ is quite cool and catchy, let yourself go is my favourite though, the solo sounds like it's been pulled right out of 1039 slappy hours.
  4. Same.. Im guessing atleast one of these 3 albums will be one that sounds like their older stuff, probably dookie though i'd prefer 1039/kerplunk.. that in itself will probably be a better album than AI and 21cb.
  5. Hip hop...? This guys a crock of shite but i think a certain guest appearence already proved that.
  6. My favourite song by them!! Havn't really listened to YM@6 for a couple of years but If you run came on my shuffle yesterday and forgot about the great ending to it, i miss how they were!! :(
  7. I'm still undecided on SB6 but if they dropped the female vocalist i'd probably enjoy their music alot more, have spoken to the singer/guitarist Barney on twitter a few times though he seems a top lad!
  8. I think i'd rather drink bleach than watch what you've just described.
  9. Judging from their previous stuff though while i agree about the new song i doubt it will be a real representation of the album!

What Kid Cudi are you listening to? He has a track called Persuit of happiness ft mgmt and ratatat from his first album which is pretty decent, his best stuff is probably from his Kid named Cudi mixtape though. As for indie hip hop, do tribe called quest and de la soul count!?? XBIajxETI5w
  11. Nice to see this is finally out the rap forum but i can't help think the trash can is a tad more appropriate than the pop forum!
  12. Can't wait for another album full of some zef next level fokking shit!
  13. I agree, Riot was quite a commercial album but while BNE doesn't have the tunes to match it has quite alot of bland poppy hooks and lacks the depth and more complexity some of the songs on the older albums have, theres a bunch of songs on the last album i cant even remember how they go, ones like turn it off, playing god, feeling sorry etc cos they all sound the same pretty much to me! I think they will always retain some of their original sound due to Taylor York who has been around with the band since the beggining, i don't know how much uncreditted input he had on the first album but he wrote some tracks like oh star which is imo one of their best songs and doesn't sound out of place with the songs Josh wrote. I think right now its importent for them to get an official drummer and guitarist cos going around as a 3 piece is making them seem even less a credible band atm and more like Hayley and the back up..
  14. I think you're completly wrong there, while renegade does sound a bit of a blast from their past (a good thing) Monster didn't and was a bit mehhh. For all we know is falling and probably Riot Josh would of had complete freedom to write what ever he wanted seeing as they had nothing to prove and were writing music they liked, if anything they were probably pressured into writing more commercial stuff for brand new eyes which is most likely why they left. If were them i'd of felt pretty disillusioned if i was in a rock group and my singer was now doing songs with rappers and my songs (that were already popular within the genre) were suddenly getting played on all the pop stations. In my opinion bar misguided ghosts and maybe all i wanted brand new eyes was a creative step back!
