Another great commentary. How amazing is that. Well done to them all.

Thanks for the details. A well fought battle providing a very exciting week in the charts. Well done Leona. I wasn't sure about the single but it has certainly grown on me. I hope that her international stardom won't change her genuine, nice personality. Well done Take That. Absolutely love the song. Very well done McFly. I am not a fan but can't get enough of this song. It seems certainly to have gained them a lot of credability. So good to see British artists at the top of the british charts. Long may it continue.
  4. Same for me. The more I hear it the more I like it.(the power of airplay, eh)

Another great commentary. Nice to have bits of info I may have missed when viewing the top 75. Thanks.
  6. Love it. Love the David Bowie sample too. Was never a fan till someone introduced me to his last album. It is an album I never tire of playing, loving most of the tracks. Hope this track does well for him.

An interesting read in the Sunday Times today. An insight into Leona. The reality very different from the perception?? I think she is going to be a sensation(even though I am not impressed with the sound of this first single)

    Great report once again. Thanks.

Thanks for another superb commentary. Didn't realise that about Feist. Thanks for all the info.

Well done to both Sugababes and to Shayne. The fight to the top has resulted in a very exciting week in the charts. Now looking forward to next week's too.

Enjoy reading this relatively new post too. Thanks for the reminder and for the good informative read..
  12. Always enjoy reading this report but don't usually reply. Thanks for solving the puzzle.
  13. Oh missed this news. Brilliant. Thanks for the coverage. Well done Beckham making the England Squad too(Oh and Gareth Barry)!
  14. I think I get what you mean. That's a nice gesture.
  15. Thanks, no and no. Blimey, Gareth's star sign have been in retrograde. His party in the park type performances were on the wettest day of the year. His album signings took place during a week that has seen the worst floods in Yorkshire and other parts. He has received no airplay for Changes and very little for Angel on My Shoulder. Oh he has had some great TV appearances where he has been able to demonstrate his personality but only a couple of live performances of his material(same for some other artists too). Then his myspace is lost. He hasn't had it easy. Still his myspace is back LOOK HERE :yahoo:  so perhaps the rain will stop for his next single.

If it were not for Glastonbury and Diana concert would have been higher. Pity he hasn't got such an advantage to promote his album. Thanks for the chart.

Good Luck to Shayne with this new song.
  18. Thanks Munchkin. Stops me wondering. I see Gareth has added a couple of the album tracks to his myspace.CLICK HERE TO LISTEN Afterglow and Talking Minds. Absolutely love Talking Minds. Afterglow has grown on me.
  19. What was it you said Munchkin?
  20. I think I tend to agree with you here. Changes is a brilliant track for the album but not really single material. I notice that Take That's last effor Wait for Life wasn't received so well. Wonder if things would have been different for them if they had released that as their first single?
  21. I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve with this post? It seems a shame that the people on Devoted who are talking like this about Gareth can't do so without it and their signature being branded on other sites. It is quite encouraging that some radio stations are featuring Gareth's album as 'Album of the Week'. Good to see they are not following GCAP's example(and this the station that is featuring a naked DJ across the land to promote their music) :o :o .
  22. When I see how many positions both Gareth and Take That dropped in the singles charts with similar songs and see Take That rising in the airplay charts and Gareth not in them at all :( I I think Gareth is not doing too bad. See Snow Patrol re-entered. Never tired of this song although am tiring a bit of Ruby which is still hanging round at 30.

Obviously would have liked Gareth to make the top 20 but in relation to other entries he hasn't done too bad.
  24. No, but this guy is hopefully going to apply for a job at THE TIMES Good review.
  25. any movement on Gareth's album please?
