Music Purchases This Week: Week Beginning 25/6/07
Ditto. I just love Soulmate- downloaded it too. Physical Pictures of the Other Side. A link to Lost In You and POTOS from Nosey CLICK HERE demonstrates the upbeat versions on the album (production a little shakey, cider induced, and sound not brill but a good indication of a couple of the upbeat tracks)

Naughty Naughty Simon. Think of all those men in suits who will be out of jobs :P Nosey thanks for those links to Lost In You and Pictures of the Other Side  . Have heard both upbeat live now and can't decide which I prefer. Pictures is definitely a great track to get the crowd going but am hoping for Lost In You as the next single(shouts loudly to Gareth's record label). Brilliant version of AOMS on Graham Norton but for me the upbeat tracks are the surprise on the album and what makes it so blooming good.

Led Zeppelin to reunite for memorial???
Robert Plant banks at the same bank as me. I have been behind him in the queue twice. Looks like he may be paying in a little more often.

Yes! Yes!Yes! finally got the album :cheer: . Favourite track has to be 'Lost in You' (agreeing with Mr.Popjustice here) upbeat and seeing Gareth perform it live at Hyde Park demonstrates it as "very much a live album". Loving Pictures of the Other Side also Just wish I could let others hear these two upbeat tracks by a link  .Anyone??

Chart Commentary from James Masterton 25/06/07
I read with interest this report every week but obviously with Gareth's chart situation I am even more interested. Whilst I don't want to keep harping on about Gareth and his radio/airplay situation I am sure that many would agree that whatever they feel about Gareth's songs/videos there are a whole lot better on both emap/gmap, but there are a whole lot worse too. For him to be excluded from both (except for one week on the Hits) proves the powerfulness of these guys. Yes the downloading hasn't affected the charts in the way I expected and while the top downloads will receive best airplay and the best airplay artists rise to the top of the downloads charts, we are in a catch 22 situation making me wonder what can be done to inject some excitement? Something people seem to be seeking week after week, but never quite achieving. Thanks for the report. Hope you can find a solution.

Thanks for that info about the Daily Star. OMG so glad I didn't read it yesterday before I went to Hyde Park. Was so expecting Gareth to do the Bon Jovi number but he took a real chance and did a "stripped back to it's roots rock version" of Spirit in the Sky. Have to say I was just struck dumb when he said it was his next track, and truly with his new stuff, never expected him to do it again but it worked and worked well. The crowd absolutely loved it. :cheer: Was hoping AOMS would have made top 20. Am hoping the album makes it but it is a hard week.

I do so hope this isn't true. Why would Devoted want a nice long page to talk about Gareth and why is it lovely? That's an encouraging post Johny. Do so hope others begin to think the same. Am off to Hyde Park tomorrow too. Big event for Gareth, this. He must be feeling excited and nervous amongst some big names. I sure am looking forward to it. Sunglasses and wellies packed

drivers face £200 bills to park outside their own homes
Brilliant post. Lots of towns/villages now have a 'walking bus' too. Put kids/people back on the street and Britain will be a safer place.

Woolies Track Chart (Online)
Oh, why am I not surprised?? Thought it too good to be true that someone could be sincere about Gareth Gates.

Well Nosey I am a member of Gareth's O/S and I haven't seen this INTERVIEW  Have missed about him releasing in Europe and Asia AND missed that he's up to sharing a tent. Stands a chance that after his appearing at Hyde Park he will be a punter at Glastonbury!

Soundclash! #76
Gareth for me please. Love Kelly Clarkson although not too keen on this track but do like Gareth's AOMS. Did Kelly Clarkson share the same management as Gareth previously (Simon Fuller's 19)?

Thanks Suggy any info at all is appreciated. Gareth has been appearing a few places with Ross Copperman now. ( I actually like him and his recent track but my DJs praising him at every play and plugging his album is putting me off him. I can't understand how every night he appears in the 10 top most requested tracks of the day on my local station)? Would it be an invited audience tonight do you think?

Thanks for that vote of confidence. As with all artists release time is nail biting stuff. ( You can't wait for it to happen and when it does you want it over)!

Very dissapointed to read such a post. I hope no one would go those extremes. Am hoping Gareth manages to make the download chart. If it wasn't for a link on the GPG site I would have trouble finding it on Itunes.

Simon Webbe 'Ride the Storm' - Listen inside!
Never usually watch the lottery show but saw Simon on it last night. Thought the song OK. He looked pretty cool too.

Thanks. Must admit to only having heard it played once and thought it definitely more radio friendly than Changes. In fact the more I hear it the more I absolutely love the track . Just wish others could hear it more for it to grow on them too  Yeah re the music but JK and Joel the other night were having a bit of banter with Gareth on the phone, which Gareth took in good fun. Why would Gareth's phone number be in Joel's phonebook?

Thanks. Love the original of the song but think Gareth performs it equally is good. Just love it. Were you there? at the sunglasses in the pouring rain. Gareth's probably just thinking it was a spring Bank holiday in May :P
