Mikey I have just answered in the Sunday Prediction post re Gareth's downloads. I can't see Gareth progressing up the charts and realise that the downloads will hold him back. If he had received any airplay at all it may have encouraged a few to download the track but we can only hope that the next track from the album will fair better. I have probably said this before but Gareth and his team seem to have wanted to declare these 'Changes' and have taken a risk to do it.

Oh wow such a lot of work going into this post. Really is good but hope the too much detail doesn't detract from the actual figures. Must admit to like reading a weekly airplay chart too. Will this still exist?

Oh dear too at the download position. Gareth certainly has been promoting everywhere but hasn't received the all important airplay. I have read many magazine interviews about other artists advertising their 'single out today', but if I have never heard it on the radio, it wouldn't encourage me to buy it. Let's hope he doesn't go for 3499 I am hoping he can make top 40. This is where the speculation of single/album sales counting towards the charts raises its head. Does every single sale count towards the charts, no matter where purchased?

Obviously as a fan I like the song because I love Gareth's voice. In what way do you consider the song old for him? Would Gareth ever be considered for the Radio 1 playlist do you think? I am sure Changes wasn't a shoddy choice of single. I expect great thought was given into it's being chosen but I do wonder if Gareth was making a statement by choosing it. In the past he has been accused of being a puppet. Perhaps it is his way of stamping his feet and showing everyone that win or lose he is going to have a say?

Gareth's not done too bad in the TV airplay considering he hasn't been added to the Box/Smash Hits etc. Wow to Mika with Love Today on airplay. Have heard it loads today (but just love it).

Bit dissapointed not to see make any dent in the Itunes Download chart. I can't see how airplay can pick up either. Last week he was accused of getting his ar*se around the record stations and now he has done that they are still not adding him to their playlists :( .
