absolute monster sales for both. 1st & 4th highest debut of the whole year, with Little Mix the highest first week sales for a UK act this year if I’m not mistaken?

Fingers crossed Little Mix can get a BRIT best group and Kylie for international female next year after this battle. Is there an up to date year album sales thread anywhere? Just wondered if either album would enter the Top 100 in the first week sales alone.

That is true, I’d suppose they only contestants in general in the same league would be One Direction and Olly Murs if I’m correct?

I guess at this point Little Mix are surely the most successful X Factor winner of all-time in terms of lasting success. The only other winner who could challenge the singles charts, or the Top 5 of the albums would probably be James Arthur?

honestly Kylie having the biggest opening of the year, and Little Mix easily at least being Top 4 behind Kylie, Gaga & Bruce is PHENOMENAL. Their labels will both be more than happy.

they’ve been holding lots of streaming parties, I guess they know that’s where their strength i closing the gap lies... I don’t think the gap will still be just 2/3k until the very end. I mean at that point maybe the members will just buy the difference if they want it that bad 😂

maybe it’s just a difference in demographics. I think whilst CGYOOMH is the bigger of the two songs, SOTME is not that far behind really. Everybody I know, knows SOTME. If it’s played on a night out it pops OFF and I think either that or Black Magic have become really defining hits for them in the UK.

I’m happy for whoever wins, but lots of Kylie stans were calling Little Mix lots of different things for the amount of formats and now she’s releasing equal they seem to be happy... very confusing.

just thought I’d say Little Mix probably have quite a few store orders to be added, I brought a vinyl on Sunday from there which still hasn’t been dispatched - so if other orders of all the things they’ve added are in that boat, I’d guess it might be on par level of orders as the CD’s Kylie’s dispatching on the 10th?

I mean Sam & Ariana are both scraping low sales into their second weeks, and I believe LM & Kylie still have promo planned into next week. I definitely don’t think they’ll be leaving the Top 10 for a few weeks at least.

it originally let me put in 1000 on the two signed vinyl bundle and vinyl / signed cd bundle for Little Mix. now it’s just 13 of the first and 152 of the other. that’s two sales per bundle so almost 4000 sales...

got everything crossed that Confetti can nab the top spot.

I still think Little Mix will eventually win, but I mean the actual stan wars from fully grown men I’m seeing on Facebook chart pages and Twitter is a little embarrassing frankly.
