it originally let me put in 1000 on the two signed vinyl bundle and vinyl / signed cd bundle for Little Mix. now it’s just 13 of the first and 152 of the other. that’s two sales per bundle so almost 4000 sales...

that gap is slowly closing... I do think LM might clinch it by the week end by a hairline

I read on Twitter somewhere that Little Mix have closed the gap to just over 1k? not sure how true it is.

I caved after how much Leigh-Anne served during the VMAs performance 😍

I’ve already got the Jade vinyl and the splatter vinyl, but I’m really wanting to get the Leigh-Anne one too. Kind of holding out to see if they drop anything in the week.

I think their pure sales will be very similar come the week end with Kylie slightly ahead, but I do now think streaming will give Little Mix the victory. Personally I think Kylie will easily get another Number 1 album, whilst LM would probably benefit from it more - with people constantly saying they’re past their best / on their way out, it would shut those people up a little. Plus I do find it so great that in terms of modern success, Kylie has completely eclipsed Madonna.

Little Mix are killing it on streaming, with Sweet Melody up to 6 on Spotify & 3 on Apple Music, plus all the tracks in the Top 100 on both platforms. This race is going to be so tight honestly, just gotta say that personally these albums are both phenomenal pop albums, and it’d be nice to show support to both these acts who have worked their asses off to achieve the career longevity they have.

I could see LM snatching the number one after The Search tonight or tomorrow on iTunes.

I don’t think you can critique Little Mix for the different covers as a supporting statement for Kylie who notoriously released a ridiculous amount of different types of cassettes / CDs / vinyls for Golden? It’s a good tactic for artists with big fan bases like Kylie & LM to pull better sales.

Sweet Melody coming to be a big hit is exactly the energy I need this morning, this leading into the album launch could really help them secure that number one

personally I absolutely adore both acts, I went to see both their last tours and have both LM5 and Golden on vinyl. But I really haven’t been utterly obsessed with any of the singles from Disco yet? I was kind of hoping for a glittery bee-gee’s / Donna summer / Dua Lipa take on disco, whilst everything dropped from Confetti I have been absolutely mad about. I wouldn’t mind seeing either of them take the number one, but just from the material so far - is like to see Little Mix take it.

Little Mix off to such a promising start! With the video out and the performance tonight in LMTS, I hope it’s a Top 10 chart debut for them.

I like Ariana’s new track... but after Rain on me, I was really hoping for a return to big pop bangers.

I will stand firmly behind my choice to give Same Difference 12 points - purely based on how much ten year old me played their debut album on LOOP, and they sung happy birthday to me in the car park of Monkey World on my 12th birthday. your faves could never 🙃😂
