Really? B) I think the point apart from convenience, is money - to save on manufacturing/distribution costs, I don't think there is much profit to be made from singles, they're normally really to promote albums - but maybe the end isn't quite nigh then :)

I'm one of those sentimentalists who doesn't really want to see the end of physical CDS ... but this news makes me think the day draws ever closer .... still I think it's a great achievement and I really like the song too - so :cheer: :D

I heard this on the news earlier - and felt sad :( I wonder what it was? - 65 isn't a great age these days, but it's great that he was still touring B) I've never seen him live, but I have fond memories of some of his songs - he certainly had a distinctive voice - no mistaking it - awe what a shame :(

I loved The Reason and wanted to like them, but vaguely remember listening to and not really liking any of the other 'clips' I heard at the time and didn't buy any of their albums, so I'm not that familiar with them to be fair, I haven't heard the new single yet either.

I still enjoy listening to Hopes & Fears - it's one of my favourite albums. Thanks for the info thisispop :D I'd heard their next album would be coming out in June and been looking forward to it, didn't know there would be a pre-album digital release as early as April though ... I'm getting that nervous feeling, of what if I don't like it now :unsure: :P ;)

Yes, I agree - I used to really enjoy it too back in the 'good ole days' lol! - but I won't miss the recent format one bit :puke2: Another end of an era then ... maybe.
