Awe that's nice - it is really lovely :wub: I know what Pam means - The Live Twice video is special too :wub: I wonder why you're having a problem with it, seems odd especially if it works fine in the video section doesn't it? I've not had a problem with it, can't get on the site at all just at the moment though.

I don't need any reminders to keep my faith in Darius, but I guess he must have felt at the time that some people needed reminding and I loved it that he wore that top - that's just so Darius I think I'm the only one who doesn't seem to care when the next album comes out - it will, one day; in the meantime I'm still enjoying what's already here :)

I think this one is a lovely picture of Darius Meg - full of joy and flowers in his hair too! - see you'd have missed out on that special effect, if he'd lay on the floor ;) - I like your 2005 one of him as well, except I don't like his Billy Flynn hair doo :P

I'm not a Gareth fan, but I do like the sound of that song though. It's only a short snippet, so I'm not sure, but it seems to lend itself to being part of a musical or perhaps a movie or drama sound track. I'm definitely interested in hearing the full version now anyway

I would have liked to have been at that one too - not because Darius did an acoustic set but because he did both an acoustic set and a rockier/full band gig as well - that's as close as it's come to my perfect Darius gig so far ;) - If I had known what Darius was going to do there in advance, I still wouldn't have been able to go though - but I still wish I had been there :dance: - I'll just have to make do with the DVD of it instead - for which I'm very greatful to all involved in making it PS - sorry for not posting a pic whilst I'm in this thread - I would have if I could have directly uploaded from the pc.

Isn't 'Don't know why' a Nora Jones song? - That's a very well know and frequently covered song too, but maybe her version was a cover? ... or it wasn't her - not sure? as I'm not very familiar with her stuff. I do really like the song Don't know Why; and Nora Jones has a cutsie type of voice that appeals to me - but I do find Come Away With Me very Snore inducing musically though :zzz: Having said that, she's an extremely well thought of/popular artist I think isn't she? Don't apologise Preston - it gave me a laugh and that's good :lol: - and I really do think Darfius is a cute name :D

It could possibly be what Meg has suggested I suppose, but sometimes myspace seems to make friends just disappear off your list mysteriously for no apparent reason though. I've never deleted any of my 'friends' - but have occasionally had to re-add and accept requests from some who've mysteriously been deleted from my friends' list anyway. Another thing that happens, is that the friend's account itself may have been deleted - when that happens, all trace of them disappears including past comments, messages and their presense on your list of friends.

Anyone heard from Baytree? :unsure:

It is so predictable *yawns* - it's an example of what I find distasteful about the music industry really, because like everything else in the world I suppose, as it's about those who have the money, power and influence to pull the strings <_< - in someways I think it is so transparent, that it can backfire on the artist, as people who feel like I do about it all just get turned off. Regarding people having a go if Darius released a cover, I'd understand that though, because it was Darius himself who made a big deal about not wanting to be a 'covers' artist off the back of a TV show in the first place. I wouldn't like it myself, if Darius were to do something like this :( Generally speaking, I'm not totally adverse to covers done by anyone, so long as they either have a personal reason for wanting to do that particular song, or they bring something new, different or are somehow creative themselves with it and covers don't form the mainstay of what they generally do. With these kinds of fund raising charity singles specifically though, I tend to see it differently then myself, no matter who does it - I just think of it being for the charity, more than I think about the song or the artist - Band Aid for example. I'd still sooner something new and original came along though, like the original Band Aid single.
