Secret_Song

I think it's a sample of 'Have you seen her' by the Chi-lites? There seems to be a general coming back of Motown/Soul in some music that's about now to me. Sampling something vaguely familiar often helps a track do well on a subconscious level - I like Motown/Soul music, but not really the Chi-lites or this song particularly though -_-

Nice sound ;)

Black spots? ... I've never noticed any of those  I think it was probably just a gliche Pam as lots of people that were having probs have registered now, hopefully it will work for you next week :) I think that must be just a gliche too Preston as the links in this thread are all working fine for me. Mine is working as a link now too :cheer: thanks for the instructions

There always seems to be one hiccup or strange buggy things happening on MySpace generally, usually whatever odd things occur get sorted out and the next time you try it, it might be different again :P I told you to stay and be me 'friend' diddly I lol! :D I suppose it's feasable that if you've cancelled your account, you could be on some sort of block list? ... but I don't know really - You could either email and ask them if you are and can you re-register , or try using a different email account and registration info maybe? At the moment though, with a few people seeming to be having problems registering, it could just be that there's a general registration bug anyway - I'd suggest you just keep trying for a bit longer - at least until those who are having probs have also been successful anyway :)

This Love Harder to Breathe Sunday Morning She Will be Loved Must get out

I think the only thing he's got in common with James Blunt is the record label he's signed to - Paolo doesn't even like James Blunt's music - or so I read somewhere :P  - I think they have a completely different style and genre influences to their music anyway though, I like both myself, but Paolo's stuff has a real soul vibe - especially in his vocals, he's got a much groovier funky sound and I think his live performances are even better than the recorded stuff

who knew :(

Must have been my PC last night  'cos I can see it now and it's working fine David thanks :) It's an interesting video to watch, the song is alright - it's a bit angsty and shouty for me though, I prefer the one they did on Jools :)

1976 ... it was a lovely hot summer and I fell in lurrve

la la la la la la la la la la la la la one banana, two banana, ? banana one, can't remember the next bit ..... playin' in the sun ... or something like that :P

Well said Baytree - ditto from me too! 3 :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: for Buzzjack and all who sail in her :D I didn't think anyone was having a dig when I first read it anyway, (Have since seen PussyCat Boy's expression :puke2:  ) - but, as for the others, I just saw it as pointing out a fact of interest - it's true that there's a big difference between the number of posts and number of views, in the ones mentioned -particularly Darius - in a way, it doesn't surprise me, there's obviously always been a lot more people interested in Darius, than any forum/posts have really reflected :D ... all I can say to them is ... Come on - Dive IN :D

I can't see the video here  - but I did see them on Jools Holland and I thought they were really good too! :)

If anyone wants to watch a replay of the Fullam Palace Park Webcast - it's online HERE - if you've not already, you'll need to register for the username and password to watch the webcasts on there. I love the setting ... can imagine just sitting in the park for a live gig like that

Thanks for the explanation, I didn't realise BBC radio had so many different parts to it :D I think they're all struggling to an extent - so many more places to listen to (and watch) music now - explains all the mergers in a way, but I don't like mergers - they're scarey :o :P

:cheer: What's the connection between Richard Park & Paolo Nutini? (apart from Scotland :D )

I think my favourite Darius photo is the one that emotion uploaded for me into the Gallery - it just sort of captures the essense of what Darius was all about to me I suppose :) HERE - but that one is only a screen cap and not a good quality one - his nose is blurry :D - I love the majority of the Live Twice Photo shoot pictures from the album booklet - but don't have a scanner to have been able to upload them - one day! :) and one day I might even get around to a banner of my own! Ok, so from those here that have been uploaded and put up for selection - thanks everyone and B.P. for the wonderful organisation - this is the vote from the secret_song jury (done very quick so I don't change my mind) 6 - 10pts 15 - 9 21 - 8 13 - 7 7 - 6 10 - 5 33 - 47 1 - 3 11 - 2 9 - 1

Blimey! I wasn't aware that P!nk was having any "success" in the US problems, or problems over release decisions with her label either :( I do agree that Stupid Girls doesn't reflect the album, but I really like that song though - it switched me back on to P!nk as soon as I heard it and I really like Who Knew too - I think the album as a whole is great, but funnily enough - U+Ur Hand is probably my least preferred track of all of them :(

I've not had any probs getting on anytime today Paul. You could link to it Preston - like THIS

Guilty Your Honour

The Oran Mor gig has been added to Rachel's site now - we can't direct link to the exact location though now but from the main website HERE you will find it under appearances >> radio >> 2004 >> then it's number 24 on the player :D

These are lovely - glad you just happened to be there at the right time again Meg :D Has anyone gone today/tonight?

I'd started to think I was going to have to go around apologising for getting everyone excited for nothing :P :D "Meat Balls" What is she like Fern ... awe :D

Don't tell anyone I threatened to tie you up in here though will you ;) :D

Well what's ALL BBC then? ... I can't work out what's the difference between ALL BBC and ALL BBC Network Radio then? :D
