I announced my stepping back in the admin lounge a few days before Phil took over from there. To ensure everything works out fine with the transfer to Phils new server etc I'm still around til November 1st. The server will stay online til November 1st so Phil has enough time to move things around as he wishes. My reasons for this is because I am focusing on a very large internet project which launches next year so it would be not the best idea to be an admin here if I cannot contribute the time I would need to bring BJ forward. The chat / interactive profile has been removed because it wasnt really used here and it is a waste of money to have a chat which costs ten thousand+ Euros (based on Macromedia Flash Media Server) plus an own server for FMS if there are no people inside. That said I will use the chat and interacive profiles on my new project as it will be more useful there. This should clear it up ;)

Hi there, we (Ricky's idea) have added a small button to each topic so you can bookmark the most interesting posts/topics using your favorite bookmark manager such as Digg, Furl etc. Jason

That means you have issues with javascript and your flash player is ok. I woud suggest to recheck your browser settings and also what "internet zone" you use. Maybe you changed some settings without noticing (can happen if you click something by mistake). Check anything in your browser settings which refers to active scripting / javascript and enable it. Hard to debug such an issue as it can be a lot of things. Also try http://www.my-webradio.com/icr.html (which doesn't use javascript) so we can rule out a flash issue and focus on javascript. If that one works then you have a javascript issue.

Another possibility is that you have disabled javascript. Check your system settings and make sure javascript is enabled cause most flash applications use javascript to display the flash embed code. Did you recently install any new anti virus solution (norton etc) or disable javascript for security reasons? That might be the reason then.

Seems like an issue on your side then. Do me a favor and go to http://my-webradio.com and click the logo on the site. It will open up a radio player. Let me know if you can listen to the music or if you are not able to access the flash player there also. This will help me to find out if its a corrupt player installation or permission issue with the chat room domain name.

If you cant access the chat at all (I thought you were just complaining about the message) then try going here: http://chat.7thspace.com/talk/ Ince you click the "I'm over 13 years old and agree to the rules - Let me in!" and the chat doesn't load try pressing your CTRL and F5 key at once and the page should refresh and delete any cached versions. Let me know if that works for you. @slick: smartass ;) You love to make it look like i don't understand a thing, but sadly its always YOU who doesn't understand me. I'd suggest you to start trying cause the problem must be on your side as I didn't meet any person on the web who doesn't understand what I'm talking about (and I'm online since many many years).

The message is always there, but the application normally hides it once loaded. Its like you write a message under a picture and in case the picture doesn't load you see the alternative text so you know something is wrong.

If there was only one forum where all closed topics go then it would be very hard to search for posts cause normally you would search by artist / band and not in the bin. This would confuse many people cause someone will be like "there was this one topic in the anastacia forum and now its gone". I'd keep the closed topics in the related category cause then you can find it much easier. :D

Common issue with dual core servers. Will be adjusted every sunday to make sure no issues come up by randomly adjusting it (for example flood protection kicking in for 3 minutes if the time changes randomly) Thanks for your notification

While recording have a look if the green line you see shows activity or if it stays flat. If it stays flat, go to your controlpanel, sound settings and bring up the sound mixer. Make sure the mic slider is set to 100% and the muts checkbox is not checked. If the line is not flat, remember to SAVE the recording so it will show up in your player. If you don't click the save icon it will not be stored. Additionally make sure to select your bandwidth speed in the settings tab (modem or dsl) cause if you have a slow connection and you use DSL it might not store anything as your computer cant keep up with teh recording speed. Let me know if any f this solves your issue.

Well technically you can just turn on some mp3 and it would record it, that's why I added this info so noone gets in trouble. Up to 30 secs are covered under "fair use" so its no issue.

One thing: Because of copyright issues etc do not just record a song from your mp3s. However, you can record up to 30 seconds as thats "fair use" and not the full song.

He tested it with your recording cause he had no mic to test. I'm sure he just forgot to take it offline shortly before he left for a few hours. Btw. if you are interested or have some time it would be wonderful if you could do the same you did for razorlight for the new feature so we can announce it on GN.
