RIDICULOUS post. Blackout did not even reach 500k worldwide in its 1st week. How did you come with 1million, are you freaking nuts? :wacko: Britney is not big in UK, she is a singles seller there (as the success of her Greatest Hits shows), with her studio albums she "only" gets platinum and Blackout did not even reach that. Circus is doing quite ok for her!

Am I the only one who thinks all this X-factor frenzy is absolutely insane?

Blackout might approach the (deserved) platinum status with the release of Circus. I believe the stores will put Blackout at a low price.

In USA and Uk, the situation is pretty much the same. She is quite close to platinum status in both countries but it will take ages (meaning at least half year or something) for her to achieve that. If she re-releases Blackout, she'll have no problems. If she doesn't, then she needs an extra single.

She is now at 800k in USA, obviously it is not good for her but yeah in these conditions it would not be easy to get more than this. I think that she will reach 1 million at her best (at least it's platinum) and probably 2 million worldwide.

Well Britney shortened the distance to Lupe Fiasco so the fight for number 3 will be very close. Chasing Pavements will be huge.

When she recorded most the album, she was ok. I think most of the recording happened during her second pregnancy.

we finally have some official numbers for the last 2 weeks. One is under and the other is overestimated. Two weeks ago she sold 60,816 and in the last week she sold 38,441. In the total, Blackout has sold 656,996 units.

I heard Blackout is number 61, how much is the difference for top 40 and top 20 in sales? Thanks!

I think it makes no sense to estimate 55k this week. Blake Lewis sold 55k and he was some places behind her so I guess you should, at least put 58k.

This week she sold 34.120 units.

POM is climbing. The album is still not going up but at least it is not dropping. Shame about Spice Girls, I was expecting higher positions and sales.
