Surely they'll release one. Obviously I personally am alright with Sky confirmed but not everyone has Sky or is able to access it by digital means. The producers must know that Sheridan's fans will expect one. She's unlikely to be able to fit it in again unless it was to be on Broadway for example.

Thank you Polly. Yay! Two down - silver screen and Sky Arts. We just need confirmation of the DvD now. .

Darius Speaks
No. He did say something very similar in exceptional circumstances in Popstars. A lot of the contestants broke down because they'd just been through a particularly stressful day and a lot of them were sent home, including Darius. Those who were staying were crying because they were relieved and those who were leaving were crying because their dream was over and they'd need to leave the friends they'd made. Darius then made a throwaway lighthearted comment to cheer the others up. He said "Come on guys, don't cry. Can you not feel the love in the room?" It was not meant for the audience at home or the crew.

Got to add the classic Darius misquote "There's a lot of love in the room" It's used quite a lot and he quite often gets a mention too.

I actually think he'd make a better Javert. That wonderful baritone, ram rod straight back and commanding stage presence, he'd ace it.

Saturday 19th August, Darius's birthday, were the last two shows on the tour. In London they did 8 shows per week. On tour if would depend on the distance between the venues, whether they could start on the Monday or not. In Glasgow an extra matinee was added presumably because there was a high demand for tickets. Birmingham had the House Full sign out for the whole week. Edited because there are always two matinees.... So 3 in Glasgow not 2 like I said before.

Is this New album gonna happen!?
Yes. Darius has a big bunch of them, including a virtually completed album he recorded in London and LA probably in 2012 or 2013. I guess From Here To Eternity and the chance to work with Tim Rice put paid to that. We've heard a few because he put up 3 demos on the Darius forums. They were recognisably Darius in the vein of the n-singles and b-sides. They definitely had the potential to be solid album tracks or hits depending on the production. I used to have them and another song he wrote as a teenager on my computer. What he's done with them I don't know. I don't know if they're written under his own name.

Is this New album gonna happen!?
Talk about it when demos are ready. Talk about when the decision is made about which producers on which side of the Atlantic you intend to work with. Talk about it when studio recordings start.. Get some samples out somewhere. Talk about the design etc. Arrange distribution. Tell the world. Make an official TBA notification even if there isn't a long enough break in the schedule. Just COMMUNICATE instead of total lock down citing commercial sensitivity and contractual confidence. How? Use Twitter, start to use the dormant Facebook page and Instagram, keep in touch with all the media contacts renewed or made over the past two years. If Darius can produce a Hollywood movie, he's capable of making plans and ensuring they happen despite obstacles.

Could the thread be pinned now please. Jennifer Harding, Sheridan's tour understudy and Darius Canterbury https://jofisherwrites.com/2017/05/21/revie...canterbury/amp/ It took me a few moments to remember that Darius Campbell – yes, that Colourblind crooner and ex-Pop Idol contestant – was playing the role of Nick Arnstein. He was slick, suave and utterly believable as the tall, dark and handsome man who suddenly swishes into Fanny’s life. He’s putting his fantastic singing voice to good use on the brightly lit stage and it really suits him.

Is this New album gonna happen!?
The first big band song Darius sang after he'd left Pop Idol was I've Got You Under My Skin which was a encore on the Dive In set. The next swing type song was one called Devil In You on the Live Twice album. I was convinced it was a cover version and thought it weird that he would have just one on an album of original songs. So starting searching for the lyrics to pinpoint its source and came up empty-handed. It was an original Darius song. We found out much later that it was about Natasha Henstridge. Then came West End -, Chicago as the youngest guy ever to play Billy Flynn there or on Broadway, Chicago again, Guys and Dolls, Gone With The Wind. When Darius returned to LA. he researched the History of the Big Bands right up to seeking out the original manuscripts of the arrangements they used, with the aim of putting together as authentic a show as he could and touring it.He wrote it, helped to audition the musicians and co-produced it. He also wrote a couple of new songs in that genre. He toured the UK with it in the autumn of 2010, after earlier participating in Popstars To Operastars, which he won and recovering from breaking his neck in a car crash in Spain. He can sing swing very well and it probably helped clinch From here To Eternity and Funny Girl for him. However, I fervently hope he gets it out of his system and that the musical style on a new album will be whatever best suits each original Darius song on it.

So? I've been telt! Loyalty of longstanding members means damn all. The number of posts means pi**all either. It's all about new shiny members now. The high heed yins will decide whether we're a community or not and whether our interactions are high enough quality.

Oh so what is the magical age? Let' s axe everyone else. What is this, Logan's Run? I thought Buzzjack was more mature but there's just a thin line between the resentment here and the bullying on CC. I've only been back a couple of days and frankly I'm tired already of the overdrive to push me and my fellow Darius fans out. You might get loads of new members but how many will stay?
