I too would like to see GWTW in a traditional theatre with a large stage which could accommodate sumptuous sets to match the fabulous costumes and talented cast. May I recommend the Edinburgh Playhouse.?

She's back - Natasha! How does that man stay on friendly terms with ALL his exes? Incredible! I guess he's just a really decent guy. I half-knew Natasha was in London because she'd tweeted a picture from an exhibition in London on the 29th November. I'm sure there was a Comic-Con in W ales so I thought she might have been involved in that. She loved Funny Girl last night and thought Sheridan Smith was amazing - two tweets and an instagram - and of course, she Kinda Love d Darius too.

I don't know where I found it but I kept scrolling down into the teens, into the top ten, top five and........ FHTE was no.2 . Amazing! I hope the off-broadway production does well. The show deserves to be seen by many more people. Rock of Ages was no. 1.

FHTE has not been forgotten. There was a tweet today from Hattie one of the student group from Kentucky. She says reading an article at work about Darius Campbell in Funny Girl took her back to her best theatrical experience - FHTE . Also I found a survey asking which shows should be brought back to the West End. There were 24 on the reverse list, guess where FHTE fitted in.

Is it time for a pinned thread for just the reviews as we've done before. I think there will be more from the Menier and then from the Savoy. Theatremates and West End Frame are also saying that the Savoy theatre run has been extended to September 10th. I'll wait to see if Darius signs up. Bit concerned due to the production of the new film he mentioned. Films are such massive endeavours that there isn't usually much wriggle room on schedules. The extension has also been announced by the Mail's journo - 10 weeks to September 10th. I guess the tickets for the original West End run are pretty much sold.

http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertai...c-a6758751.html Another vote for giving Nick more depth. I was wrong. The missing song is Temporary Arrangement. I've also found the review which seems to be about a different show http://www.londontheatre.co.uk/londontheat...funnygirl15.htm

After these do you think they'll take the hint and revise the book again to beef up Darius's part for the Savoy?

After From Here To Eternity
Any time Darius is credited for production,, that section should be updated on his IMDB page.

I have to say that. Darius can do a flawless Nu Yawk as well as anybody. W'e heard it where it was fitting... In Guys and Dolls. However, in Funny Girl his character, Nick Arnstein, has deliberately cultivated a 'posh' accent to fit in with his glossy veneer- its one of the crucial ways in which he succeeds as dodgy businessman and outright conman.

After From Here To Eternity
He'll still be in Funny Girl and I can't imagine how they'd get away with virtually unknown Brits in the lead when there are plenty of Americans who can do it. However now we know what Darius did off-stage I.e. film producing, maybe we should use this thread for info about that. Imperium wrapped on October 24th so is now post-production. It's due out in 2016.

http://kateinbrockley.blogspot.co.uk/2015/...funny-girl.html So that's what Darius was up to after FHTE .... I knew of course that he and Natasha had planned to produce before their divorce but this seems to be on a far larger scale. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4781612/fullcredits/

Funny Girl
I can just imagine. I think I've found out what the missing song is ....it's the lullaby but that's not its title, which is what I've been searching. It's called 'Sleep Now, Baby Bunting'. I haven't found any audio of it.......yet. Even if Darius is emotionally drained at the end of each night's performance, it must be a great relief to be in a big production whose previews are just for tweaking, polishing and tightening, rather than the daily grinding graft of constant changes well into the run, while performing 8 shows a week and expected to do promotion too, as in GWTW and FHTE.
