Another easy one - What does Darius wear when he first appears? The ruffled shirt is obvious .....tails, frock coat, tuxedo?

Thank you. I think the duet you loved was probably 'Who are you now?', which was a solo for Fanny on Broadway and dropped for the film. I really couldn't figure how it would work as a duet but I'm really glad it does. If the solo song came before People and was fairly upbeat, even jaunty, I'd guess 'I want to be seen with you tonight.' I can't think of any production dance scenario where Nick would be expected to be involved, apart from maybe 'Henry Street' or 'Sadie.' I'm surprised he dances at all, other than a very short waltz at Fanny's mother's saloon. There was a nice photo of Sheridan in costume during 'Don't rain on my parade' in a newspaper article - Telegraph?

You little teaser, you. That's far too thin a gruel to last us through to April. So, I'll start with an easy one. What is the missing song and where does it fit into the story?

Got tickets for end of April but there were very few available. I found a little review yesterday but lost its web address. Darius was 'suave and convincing.' I'll see if I can find it again. http://monstagigz.com/2015/11/22/theatre-p...sheridan-smith/

It seems that Darius is singing another duet in the second act - Who are you now? I think it was mentioned in an article about Sheridan in the Independent. They've changed it to one of those duets revealing each other's thoughts like Alone in GWTW or Maybe in FHTE. If they haven't cut either of Nick's Broadway songs, I make it four songs - I want to be seen with you tonight, You are woman, I am man, the song left out of Broadway and Who are you now. So that's not too bad.

Then it's time Darius answered the questions on this matter put to him directly by fans, if it's not under wraps.

I've seen nothing official anywhere online which gives any cast for the Savoy other than Sheridan Smith.

I'm not buying tickets until there's confirmation that I'll see Darius.

On Broadway Nick sang a quick snatch of "Don't Rain On My Parade" ending with 'Mrs Arnstein, Here I go' in the scene where he succumbs and gets involved in the bond con.

There's another song called Temporary Arrangement which some say Styne wrote for the movie and others that it was written for the Broadway show. It wasn't written with Bob Merrill though. I don't like it at all. Too wordy and to my ears the tune is boring wiith hardly any rise and fall. Sounds very dated. It would be a miracle if Darius could make that one come alive!

On another forum someone mentioned.a song for Nick called Lullabye which was cut from the Broadway show because Sydney Chaplin wasn't up to singing it. Maybe that's the one being reinstated for Darius.

Apparently Sheridan has been having costume fittings this week. Maybe first photos won't be too far off. Sheridan will be a guest on Jonathan Ross on 7th November.

Darius was at the Scottish Style Awards at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum last night.

Whatever happens will only happen with Sheridan Smith on board. The director was prepared to ditch the revival if Sheridan had decided not to do it.

I wonder when we'll see any in costume photos. Maybe since it's sold out, they won't bother with the usual promotional stuff which surrounds a new production. It would be a great pity. IMO they should at least change that dull brown, nondescript poster to one with Sheridan.

Least Favourite Darius Single // FINAL RESULTS
I'm glad I didn't have to do this. I'd have put Colourblind as favourite too. I'd have jettisoned Kinda Love first. IMO it was the worst of the upbeat tracks on Live Twice. Years later, Only You, Stars Crash Down and How Do You Like it still get stuck in my head but NEVER Kinda Love. It certainly wasn't helped by the first issue to radio etc which had some weird production effect and had to be reissued. Like others, the singles were not my favourites. If they were trying to show a different Darius, I would have gone with Mercury Rising as the ballad not Girl In The. Moon. I'd have put out Dive In as a single. Rushes just edges Incredible for me because of the live performances and Live Twice edges both of those because it still moves me every time I hear it. I still like the single which got away, the one heard tantalisingly once only on PI2 but apparently never completed - Right Girl Wrong Time

Darius: Bits and Pieces 7
Yesterday Darius was home in Glasgow. He went to see his great friend and talented hairdresser Taylor Ferguson. He attended the Great Scot Awards later.
