  1. Going about her regular routine business. It's the London Film and Comic Con(vention) at Olympia.

Found on youtube. There's a lot of traffic noise though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9J-8cYVPDk
  3. Hang on - Sunday 27th October? That's when Darius is due at the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow for the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice 30th anniversary concert. Bit of a rush. Maybe have to do without a soundcheck. Hopefully being second on the bill, he'll not be due on stage at the "Armadillo" until nearer the end.

Aw.......Nigel! Such a good friend. When you add it all up, Darius has comparatively little acting experience. His resume looks decidedly thin compared to others in the casts of shows he has done, and yet he takes on these huge challenges, rises to them and holds his own. I hope Booth gets a chance to see Darius in FHTE. He wanted to be an actor before revolution turned his world upside down.
  5. Thanks, pip. At £250 a pop, I'll pass. I need to save to see FHTE.

Lots of plaudits for the show again tonight. I just had to bring over this tweet. dizzyfeet : I've just seen Tim Rice's new musical "From Here To Eternity." Darius Campbell née Danesh is brilliant. What a fine actor he has become! Thanks, megham, for posting the one from Aldo Scrofani. He was never in doubt about Darius's talents. It's nice to see old friends getting in touch with D now he's back. There was one from Jules Knight (formerly of Blake, now in Holby City) last night and Brian Hill is hoping to team up with Darius soon.

Thanks, pip. I know it's only the first preview and it's quite a while to the press night. Nevertheless I've been on edge today. Still curious about how they do the beach scene on stage. Edit - another tweet - thebenjamintill : Very much enjoying From Here to Eternity. It's sumptuous and epic and it has a beautiful score. Well done all #FromHereToEternity I'm relieved about the score.

Warden's no angel either. In fact all of the principal characters in FHTE are flawed.

I see that the cast page now lists Martin Marquez as Captain Dana Holmes. Where have we all seen him before? He was the regular barman in Hotel Babylon. Funnily enough I watched D's episode again yesterday. Fazio STILL makes my flesh crawl in his penultimate scene.
  10. Nice picture in the Daily Mail online showbiz photos yesterday. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/pictu...8021&page=1 roll over the thumbnail to enlarge Also from the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/galleries/p01h9dw9
  11. I wonder if he had time to catch up with Nicola Benedetti.

There are quite a few different pictures from today's Sitzprobe on twitter.
  13. What a difference a few hours make. You'd hardly believe the guy in that video is the same as the suited, booted one on Breakfast today. I want to say "bin the hat" but his hair's so very short just now, the weather's getting worse and the last thing FHTE needs is any of its principals to go down with anything, so on that basis, i'll put personal dislike aside.
  14. Annoying. They had little enough time. Got to admire the smooth way Darius got the topic straight back to FHTE though. He didn't give too much away about what's in or out of the stage show. Today was the Sitzprobe - the first complete seated run through with the orchestra. By all accounts, according to twitter, it was great.
  15. Sir Tim Rice and Darius will be on BBC Breakfast later to talk about FTHE. No time given yet.
  16. Darius was at the private screening of the Alice Herz Sommer documentary Lady in Red

I can't see anything. I can never get any twitter links or instagram things. I'm not on twitter, facebook or any of those sites.

It won't surprise anyone that I prefer the poster of Darius and Rebecca. I wonder if the other one was from the workshop or just posed by models. Re the blogs, I think Darius writes what he feels and there's a potency in the honesty of that. Every time Darius mentions 9/11, I see him as he was that day, as shown in the Pop Idol video. He had seen some of the shocking TV footage that morning and just couldn't celebrate his own fortune when he got through 'boot camp'. He cut a very sad figure amidst all the jubilation. Wars have devastated his own family.
  20. I can see the extra attraction of this particular event. Boys and their toys! Looking good, Darius. Following his dear Papa Campbell's advice - Work hard. Play hard! Me, if I was working as hard for as long as the campany of FHTE is, I'd just want to put my feet up!

New one up about last week, pip.
  22. The rehearsals for FHTE don't seem to be tiring Darius out. He was at the glitzy launch party for the flagship Belstaff store in Bond Street.

It's definitely different to the one on here. The guy (Darius?) is on the right and the gal (Rebecca?) is on the left. According to twitter, they had a brilliant run through of the show at 3 Mills this weekend. They're now getting stuck into the tech rehearsals at the Shaftesbury. Only two weeks until the first preview.

Has the FHTE banner posted on the show's facebook page today changed to one with Darius and Rebecca or am I just imagining it?
  25. I've never doubted that they've always loved each other deeply.
