Very arty. Do you remember where you took it?

I'm not sure whether the Darius chaise longue/ sofa pictures have transferred. There were quite a few together on one thread in the AF. We're continuing the Bits and Pieces 7 thread for Darius centred comments, brief tweets/comments in the media, rumours about future activities etc.

You read my mind. I was going to ask if we could bring that picture over. Can you edit the topic to make clear it's a thread about Darius please, or can that only be done by prettyinpink who started it?

Thank you. Funny Girl is better open even pages back, because we know we'll need it for the Sky Arts showings at the very least. By all means let's use this thread to keep news together but we should also be able to open comment threads about certain news items, like we did with the Funny Girl Tour.

It could I suppose break down the barriers and link our community more to the wider community. To be honest the chat in the Darius forum has always been pretty much about Darius.

Let's put all the hassle behind and start 8 with the clarification subtitle in the retro forum or create a pinned sub forum

OK. It was the Bits and Pieces 7 thread I first tried to open. Fair enough if we were close to a new thread, so long as the mods fix the links. I think this title and subtitle clarify what Bits and Pieces is. It's not an off topic chat thread and it never was one. Thank you for your efforts.

Why a new thread at all? Where's Bits and pieces 7? Isn't that where the recent interviews etc are which are relevant to what Darius is doing now?

I see the title can be changed but apparently we alone who brought over only the archive, which is apparently in the pop forum, one general thread and one photo thread, are to be banned from creating new topics here. Where is the precedent for this? We should have been told that we were only to be allowed to post in the threads we transferred.

Just to say I've discovered that Orlando Bloom's recently announced TV series won't begin shooting until this time next year, so Darius's film with him should be OK

I'm pretty certain I saw a photo of Malin with Darius quite a time ago - the Savoy maybe. Is anyone here still in contact with her?

Sabine from the Netherlands is still a stalwart Darius fan. She tweeted last week that she finally got hold of the From Here To Eternity DVD and was so glad to have it to remember her trip over to see it. She wishes she'd managed over more often. A few months ago she was on a mini-tour of Scotland and stopped off at the King's Theatre. She tweeted a picture with the Funny Girl poster, proudly pointing out Darius's name above the title. Unfortunately she had to go home before she could catch the show. I hope she finds out that there will be Funny Girl showings on Sky Arts for sure and probably a DVD to follow.

Strategic attrition?

Darius sung song title most appropriate for our situation since Friday....... Marking Time. Just the title, the lyrics are too risqué for a family board.

Everyone who's interested or curious is very welcome but if I really disliked an artist as those guys did Darius, I'd ignore/avoid threads about the person, not set out to disrupt it all.

I don't mind the threads dropping down. The last time the threads were constantly spoiled by those who just wanted to be abusive about Darius and make his fans lives on the site a misery. I'm not convinced things outside of this forum have changed that much.

It's virtually impossible to find any of Darius's back catalogue on there. As soon as someone uses one it seems no time until "video unavailable." Someone had put up incredible and Colourblind as the music for videos which looked like news spoofs or something and they weren't available despite it saying they'd been up just one day.

Just ignore me. All the hassle makes me feel like Sisyphus. Every time Darius rises they just can't wait to knock him down again. No wonder he.chose LA rather than London when asked to opt for one of them in that radio interview.
