Have to say I thought Leon was atrocious all series. All the charisma and singing talent of a cardboard box. Judging his vocals from the iTunes clip it's lucky they invented autotune because he's trying so hard to miss all the notes! Pity Rhydian didn't win, even though he looks more bizarre and robotic than Matt Bellamy from Muse.

Definitely agree about releasing the album after 2 singles. The public didn't have any chance to work out whether they were prepared to invest in All Saints for a second time. Parlophone were planning on releasing the album a week later, which may have made a difference, but moved it forward a week (without doing any album promotion) so they would avoid a chart battle with Oasis, U2, Westlife etc. With hindsight, it wouldn't have been much of a battle anyway! Still a pity it's bombed, Chick Fit is a good track and the album's pretty solid.

The promotion for Target has been pretty terrible; complete lack of Radio 1 support and virtually no video showing whatsoever, and all for a song which is probably their best single since Ashes, if not All You Good Good People even. Guess World At Your Feet messed things up good and proper for them, as the album has bombed ever since it came out, having sold 200.000 off the back of Nature's Law alone.

This isn't new - I worked at Sony BMG Spain in 2004-5 and we released a number of Spanish artist albums in three different formats very similar to the Universal ones - but it's interesting to see it being implemented across the board, not just on the odd release or two.

It may be because they've stopped shipping the album in preparation for the special edition's release on 5th June.

Have you not seen what I wrote above? I worked on the marketing for Don't believe the truth and I assure you those were the figures we had in the marketing plan!

I used to work for their label in Spain. DM: 5m WTSMG: 13.2m BHN: 6.7m Masterplan: 1.7m SOTSOG: 2.2m HC: 2.3m DBTT: not sure but I would guess it's similar to the last couple, maybe slightly more.
