  1. if you took 1968 completely out of history, what influences would there be now ? Brass bands ?? because the big thing that's non pop on the sgt pepper that jumps out that's so un-pop is that a lot of it is brass bands and organisation. if not for 1968 (everything that follows would be completely changed) i'd love to see a top 10 without certain influences... what would the charts have been like if Punk hadn't happened.. Kylie/Jason (better I know at the time etc) who do we blame for the current drone of lifeless 2008 RnB/Hip Hop c**p we are fired with now.
  2. i clearly remember when Hole in my shoe was on live.... the song used to drive my dad up the wall, so I played it more...... arent kids spiteful lol bless him

  8. the culture abroad is more behaved. so they dont shag just anyone in the UK its all out of control. what works in one country doesnt necessarily work for others. for example other countries have a proper education, here in the uk kids leave school cant spell, read properly, or even speak properly, they know how to shag anything, but they cant do simple arithmetic, this country is lazy I "ARKS" YOU (instead of ASK), i am so glad that i am getting out of it.
  9. in the 80's hated the smiths, in the 90's got to like them, now hate them even more. loved abba when they were together but now they are more famous being split and what is the point of Mamma Mia
  10. ah can i top that ? (some people who did the BBC Messageboards might remember this) some years ago (5 years i believe) we had the car fixed it cost a fortune and was running perfect, went to London for 4 days for the Golden Jubilee celebrations, had a great time, came home, parked the car, then the very next day some bast*rd knicked it, even though it had a lock on. all marks CD's and the expensive CD player too, b@£$%^tards
  11. oops sorry I forgot, lots on my mind is 2000 ok ? U went to spain, did you do the dance ??
  12. for those "elsewhere" (BJ regulars not included) who think that ive started doing this everyday, i'm doing this occasionally as I do have day to day serious human issues to deal with, and can only do this when i feel that I can. besides i'd be a tad stuck one year from now if I did this everyday, it would be end of series, but if someone has a request of a certain date i'd be happy to include this one for you. : ) anyway, almost not a resident of WSM :yahoo: Im getting away from the druggies, alkies etc and the like and back to tranquil pastures. on with this installment (which is more complete than most re-runs) TOP OF THE POPS 05/07/79 (BBC1 7.29pm - 17. the remix of professional widow was '97 just squeezing through the retro door
  18. Hmm. Nik Kershaw had some esp on When a heart beats which is his best Mark King of Level 42 had some goodies up his sleeve too was My baby just cares for me bass ??? it was good though and whenever i think of double bass' (bass's/basses erm) Stray Cats (i always think of little pussycats playing them) they were cool though i must admit
  19. I had reasons at that time, I have explained this to mushy at length, and he now fully understands what my problem was. I wasn't banning, i was restricted, it's all sorted out and this is now lifted, I'm not explaining this with Neil or his "friends" due to the disgraceful behaviour towards me and I was given no opportunity to. This subject should be over ! and as far I am concerned it is forgotten
  20. will Coldplay - Viva la vida be released as a physical ??
