  1. A lot of this is probably true. But then how on earth does it happen that every year the winner is different? And every year actually the results are pretty various. How did it happen that 2 years ago Romania finished 3d (or 2nd), last year too, and this year it finished 13th. Or how Bulgaria participated for 3 years and the first 2 it never even got to the finals. If it was all about immigrants and stuff, how does this happen? I doubt that in a matter of a year or two Bulgarian immigrants have increased a few times to ensure Bulgaria's entrance on the finals and 5th place? :arrr: Immigration might have a slight impact, but if this impact was so massive and decisive, why doesn't it influence the results in one and the same way every year? Who will explain this to me, because I really don't get it. I doubt there's a different number of Eastern-European immigrants every year.

Really? How did I miss that? :kink: I guess I didn't listen that careful then, I heard that just today and got curious. :">

Is it true what I've heard about Verka's song - that in its original version the lyrics said "Russia goodbye" instead of "Lasha Tumbai" :teresa:, but they changed it since it was offensive for Russia? Have you heard anything like that? :P
  4. 12 - Bulgaria 10 - Serbia 8 - Greece 7 - Andorra 6 - Russia 5 - Macedonia 4 - Romania 3 - Moldova 2 - Georgia 1 - Belarus :dancing:
  5. Of course it is deserved. If there was any politics involved, the winners would have been about 3-4 changing every year. The fact that so different countries win shows that the most important thing people vote for is the song itself, regardless of what country's song it is. :)
  6. OK, here's my top 10. I want to appologize if it seems impertinent to give 12 points for my own country, but I really love the song. And since we are allowed to, I'll take the chance. What can I do - I like this type of music. :D 12 - Bulgaria 10 - Serbia 8 - Andorra 7 - Macedonia 6 - Moldova 5 - Georgia 4 - Belarus 3 - Turkey 2 - Hungary 1 - Portugal
  7. We can't vote for our country, right? :D
  8. Pretty happy about Eurovision this year :) I like the winner's song and I'm very glad a song in another language won. I was very bored of songs in English from nations that can't even get the pronunciation right :D I'm also proud of the way my country did - it's our 3d entry at ESC and our first entry on the finals, so the 5th place we got is great. Bulgaria already had one bad and one mediocre performance the previous two years (maybe because the songs were in English - again! and weren't anything special, especially "Lorraine in the rain..." bla... :P ), I'm very glad and liked our song, especially since it's based on folklore (from the region of Bulgaria that I am from :))). That's all I have to say! Once again - congratulations to the winner! (although the song is very sad and makes me cry :( )
