  1. Sorry, I don't believe it. Where did they get the info and why was it only in an Adelaide paper. The picture is from a Channel [v] show where they released butterflies on Delta's birthday so I think there's some confusion. There was a link to the butterfly-wedding site on the official forum and the mentioned Delta. I think there maybe some kind of a mix up. Here's the link!!
  2. This was the CD she recorded when she was 12, YEARS before Empire Records. Check the back cover, no mention of Glenn Wheatley and 2 contact numbers for Lea. The CD is credited to "Delta" even the songwriting credits. The only mention of "Goodrem" is Lea. This led to the confusing promo sheet issued with "The Foundations" comp which assumes "Delta Goodrem" is "Delta/Goodrem" a female duo.
  3. All 3 of their albums are classics. People forget the 3rd album "Don't Stand Me Down". It's one of the weirdest, least commercial albums from a major act. Creation reissued it but stuffed up the sound so EMI had a go, added a Bside and a DVD and changed the cover. Vincent Crane from The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown and Atomic Rooster plays organ on it. Buy it now. Kevin Rowland's 2nd solo album My Beauty is also worth picking up if you can get passed the OTT cover. (Kevin in ladies underwear!!!!)
  4. "Lost For Words" (version 1) was on the demo CD Delta recorded when she was 12. She played the song to Vince Pizzinga to proove she was more than a Britney clone. He loved the song and remade it. Just to show off :P the tracks on the demo CD are: Time Ticks Finding Out Love Lost For Words Medley Love is the same version that was released on "Songsalive3" and "The Foundations-Australian Music Day 1999". Delta rerecorded the song for the unreleased Empire Records album. That version remains unleaked.
  5. "Without A Trace" was written, but not used in, Hating Alison Ashley. "Thankyou My Hero" is a newish song. :D
  6. "Innocent Eyes", "This Is Not Me", "Right There Waiting", "Here I Am", "Here Me Calling", "Disorientated", "Extraordinary Day","Thankyou My Hero", "Without A Trace" and "Nobody Listened" Besides that he produced "I Don't Care", "Lost For Words"(second version), "Happy Christmas(War Is Over)","Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas", Delta's vocal track on the track she did with Olivia Newton John and "Silence Be Heard". He also arranged the strings for Visualise and wrote the cello parts for "Will You Fall For Me" and "Here I Am" Want more???? He also produced the "White Monkey" album for Danielle Spencer (Mrs Russell Crowe)

History Lessom#1.01. When the Beach Boys sacked their father as manager he found a Beach Boys sound-a-like band, The Sunrays, and groomed them, unsuccessfully as the new Beach Boys. At least Lea has got herself a RAWK group to manage. <_<
  8. What's the unheard song??? You've got me all excited. :cheer:
  9. According to my unreliable sources the song was one of the first songs written for MI. I think she laid down a backing track in either LA or Miami at around the time she attended the Grammies after party. APRA numbers are chronological(I think) and Flawed is GW 33448001 which means only ALTL(GW33425714) was published before it. eg OOTB is GW33576326. NB: ASCAP uses a different codeing system based on the spelling of the song.

The US one's great but it visually reminds me of this clip.
  11. It's a standard. Tony's original versions on "The Essential Tony Bennett" CD2 track 2. Sarah Vaughan (jazz Diva) also had a hit with it. The motivation behind the album is duet versions of songs that shaped Tony Bennett's career. So Delta was hardly likely to be asked to come up with a new song. Bennett's best known songs are "I left my heart in San Francisco" and "Rags to Riches". The duet Delta should have sung with Tony is "Just in time", the first line is- "I was lying, comfortably, face-down in the gutter" Just imagine that.lol
  12. She may have co-written them. But who's to say they're not for Brian's album. That's due out before Delta's. Surely she would have contributed to it.

She was top 20 in the a/c charts for months until the Xmas chart kicked in. It's just that she never crossed over to pop. They had a cross over date and everything but it never happened.
