Ha Ha Ha. They've printed the picture of Delts backwards.

The CD was put back. There were promos pressed and distributed. What makes you think that there weren't warehouses full of CDs waiting for cover art. I mean there was a final tracklisting AND a release date [which kept being put back]. They don't get a CD distributed across the USA overnight.....do they????

There's thousands of pages about the SonyBMG rootkit scandal on the web Here's one of them. No mention of Delta though.
  4. SonyBMG can't afford to employ computer geeks on the weekend???? Monday and it's still not up. There were stacks more people online after the Commonwealth Games opening. It's just slackness. What are all the spammers going to do now????Read a book. :(
  5. Password is 3.48 before Spinning Around. I just played it on the second UK promo [The one with Kids on it] so I suppose the standard UK copies would be the same. The first promo had Password as track 1 and no Kids. Poor Robbie. What am I doing here???? I think I'll join the Kylie forum.

The duet's called "If I Ruled The World". More info soon.

Bennett is known as the 'singers singer'. He was a favourite of Sinatra and the Rat Pack. Amongst the 'crooners' he is the last man standing. All the other originals are dead, retired or just(ly) forgotten.
  8. Most hidden tracks are at the end of the Cd ie Nobody Listened. But on some CDs the hidden track is at the start, eg before Spinning Around on Kylie's Light Years there's a track called 'Password' and on The X-Files 'Songs in the Key of X' there's a song by Nick Cave & the Dirty 3 called 'Transeuntum et Non Riverentum' to play these songs you play track one and then push rewind << for the length of the hidden track. If you go to far the CD will automatically play track one, so it takes a few goes to get it right. Oh Yeah, if you've got the Japanese 'Light Years' Password is at the end of the CD after 'Your Disco Needs You' Japanese version. Possessionless is on the standard US issue of BTT. The one nobody's got.
  9. Well here's a track that's probably on it 'Fluid'

I was just on the offical forum and someones posted that Delta and Tony's duet is ON. And there's a quote from the Daily Telegraph. Also Delta's new song from the Japanese film is called 'Fluid'. I'm going to do some research into this. BACK SOON!!!!!!

Yeah, it's that tiny glimpse of a tooth. Don't Sony Japan have photoshop. lol

Here's a new theory: 'Shadow Of Your Smile' on the US version is by a Latin singer called Juanes, the only artist on the album unknown outside Latin America, all the other dueters are established Superstars. What if they relaced this track outside Latin America/Spain with Delta. It, sort of, makes sense. Just a thought.
  13. I don't think the hybrid album was ever going to work. Let's hope this Japanese albums a bit better thought out than BTT. Put Nobody Listened as the opening track followed by On My Own, followed by Silence Be Heard. That's the Delta album I want to hear!!!!

Best thing about the new photo-NO BRIAN
  15. The promo copies were copyright protected but I don't think they had the rootwear. If you put on BTT and rewind the CD 4m 25secs on a non promo copy you get to hear Possessionless, or so I'm led to believe. The Foo Fighters last album was infected as well a lot of people sued SonyBMG so they quietly repressed it and replaced infected copies. I suppose they didn't think Delta was as high prioity as the FFs

I must be the only one that doesn't like the picture. It looks like she's just been elected to the United Nations or invented radium or something. It doesn't make my Top 100 Delta snaps.
  17. Born To Try was actually released in the USA it was on a SonyBMG hip hop/rap compilation called VOICES. That was Delta's only real release in America.

Don't believe it. There's a tracklisting for Bennett's album and Delta doesn't get a mention. If it's a bonus track for issues outside North America is not going to help her much. Anyway, the source of the article seems to be the offiucial forum. You know how reliable that is. <_<
  19. Correct. When she was in London, just before the US BTT album was withdrawn she definately said she HADN'T made a BTT clip.
  20. It might have the same track listing as the US BTT album but it won't be the same album. Nippon Columbia and SonyBMG are two completely different companies in Japan. So there'd have to reprint cover and label copy for every CD manufactured. Anyway, all the US BTT albums were infected with 'root-wear' an illegal anti-piracy software that made computers vulnerable to viruses and spyware. That's why the album was really withdrawn. Nothing to do with chart positions, boyfriends and mothers. NMNI is remixed but except for a couple of seconds sounds the same. Fragile is remixed but is IDENTICAL to the released version.

Half of those guys are dead. So a duet is pretty unlikely. Scott Walker is seriously weird so that's the one I'd like to see.
  22. GREAT STUFF. After Altered Images Clare made a solo album for London records called Trash Mad. It was produced by the people behind Transvision Vamp. A couple of promo CDs were spotted then it was withdrawn from sale. End of story?? No. A couple of years ago I wrote to Universal asking if they had any plans to release Trash Mad as part of there 'Chronicles' series, and recieved the following reply. "If you had ever heard this album you would not ask such a stupid question". IT MUST BE A CLASSIC.

Click here for track listing for Tony Bennett's "Duets" album. No Delta listed. Perhaps an Australia only bonus track. Who knows?????
  24. All this publicity is to promote a 3 CD box set. The 2 solo albums with bonus tracks and a whole disc of unreleased stuff. Warner/Rhino's been putting out lots of this stuff lately. Looks good until you get it home and find it's full of identical 'alternate' takes and bootleg quality new material [eg the new issue of John Cale's Helen of Troy]. Subtle hint: listen before you buy.

They got played on the radio in Australia. Bellybutton was released with bonus tracks- All Badfinger and McCartney covers. Much better than it sounds. Spilt Milk sounds like Queen-only good. There's also a box set of demos and live tracks. Good stuff!! Maroon Five ripped of the Bellybutton sound note-for-note and had massive hits YEARS later.
